Day one was interesting. I started with meditation… at least an attempt. I’ll be honest, I used to meditate a lot in my younger years.. then I think life got in the way- career, family.. and I am out of practice! I forgot how easily my mind wanders.. so getting back into it may take me a little bit ;) I have been a massage therapist for 26 years, but the last 16 I have been an RN. Most recently I have made some big life changes.. divorce after 20 yrs, putting the nursing on the back burner and focusing more on my bodywork. Hoping this journey can help with my ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Any insights and suggestions are welcome! Excited and nervous for what is yet to come💜
Thank you so much for this! I needed that gentle reminder that it takes time to build a practice ( of any kind! ). These past couple of days have been a little challenging, and trying to break the habit of beating myself up when I can’t master something quickly is another practice in itself🤪 I’m going on a 5 day camping trip tomorrow.. so hoping that nature and the disconnect from the day to day grind will give me a nice kick start in the right direction😊
