Help Pick A Community Name!
Hey everyone! 👋 As someone passionate about building custom apps and automated workflows using no and low-code tools, I’ve been on an exciting journey to create solutions that make life easier for myself and all of us as solution builders. Whether automating repetitive tasks, managing data, building apps, or integrating powerful tools like AWS and GCP, I’ve realized the true power of collaborating with like-minded people. That’s why I’m turning to YOU. This new community I'm building isn’t just about me or my projects—it's about working together to create amazing services everyone can use. I want to shape this new community based on your suggestions as we continue creating custom apps and frameworks that can benefit all of us. Our focus is simple: ✅ Learn and grow together — explore tools like n8n, Supabase, and Strapi ✅ Build with feedback — I’ll be creating custom apps based on the needs and input of this community ✅ Avoid vendor lock-in—we’re creating solutions that fit our needs, not the software vendors ✅ Collaborate and share — whether you’re building or learning, we’ll support each other along the way ✅ Hands-on projects — we’ll integrate with AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, and other cloud platforms to build valuable, practical solutions But before I proceed, I need your help with something important: choosing the right name for this community! I’ve thought of a few names that reflect what we’re doing here, but I want to know which resonates most with you. Which name do you think best represents our community and our journey? 🗳️ Poll Options: Low-Code Innovators Build Automate Scale (BAS) Automation Builders Workflow Engineers Automation Innovators (AI) Low-Code Labs 💬 Your input matters! If you have any other ideas or thoughts, feel free to share them in the comments. After all, we’re building this together! Thanks for participating in this journey with me — I’m excited to see what we’ll create next as a community! 🙌

@Michael Kittinger I’m experimenting a *little* with it, What kind of stuff are you doing/wanting to do with buildship?? NCA is young enough, it’s going to continue to develop and is worth getting in and adding your voice. You should join and stimulate community curiosity around buildship!

I Cover: ✅ Why having an external landing page is important ✅ What common mistakes to avoid ✅ The tools I use to make it all possible Let me know if you have any questions.

@Stephen G. Pope It's beautiful country up there! My wife grew up in SG and we relocated here this summer to be closer to family. Sometime you should check out Snow Canyon it's smaller than Zion but has some really cool slot canyons worth checking out.

@James David I'm looking into this right now. I'll need a little more time, but on the surface, it seems like there are some exciting possibilities with Build Ship —that is, you can keep using ThriveCart but integrate with LemonSqueezy either directly or indirectly through Stripe. To ensure I understand, you just want LemonSqueezy to process your payments as the merchant of record so your international compliance is easier. Do you want them to process ALL your payments or just the international ones?
A CID per content piece or per post?
I currently post the same short video on youtube, IG and tiktok. Should i create a unique ID (new record in the Content table) for every post so i can track publish status or rather link it to a Channels table? I am confused on how to proceed with publishing once video is ready to be published on multiple channels. What is the best way?

@Gerald Eder @Sofia Barbelo To Sofia's point, having a separate table for posts gives you some robust flexibility. Associated content from the content table should get linked by a foreign key. This is because posts and raw content are two different types of “entities” with CID representing content elements that may or may not be used/transformed/combined and then posts which represents groups of content elements that is in production. All that said, it’s in your best interest not to create tables Willy nilly - it’s always best to use the fewest number of tables you can, but since one table is dedicated to pieces of content and the other to an aggregation of content elements, it’s best to use two tables
Automating Mass Research
I’m curious about what the community is automating research for and what tools and tactics are working for you? The surface level research categories I can think of are industry news (including academic research), key words for search optimization, content scraping across influencers, and platform scraping for industry conversations/pain-points (i.e. community forums like Reddit). What else do you research, and what tools are your favorites? Do you have favorite ways of digesting it into your content databases in an actionable way? For context, I do this already, but it’s highly inefficient. I’m trying to get inspiration from the community about how you do research at a massive scale (increase throughput) to maximize your time thinking about novel ideas/connections and less time consuming others content.
