How would you code a RAT in python or C++. And How risky is creating Malware
Main Question: In which language would this be more effective? Which language would it be easier to make in? If theres an entirely different language that would be more efficient for this, feel free to recommend it & explain Side Questionz Also, I'm not worried about a RAT accidentally infecting my own computer if I wrote and made it myself but what about a typical virus? If i wanted to make a regular virus that just fucks up a computer but i end up accidentally executing it inside Linux, could it break out of the VM & infect my actual computer in any way? For example, if was trying to make a worm & ran it by accident would it get into my PC? I heard worms spread via a network so i could totally see this happening but ian as sure for other malware

@Apocalypse Warmachine for a bit i was confused as to what you were referring to but I'm assuming this is it? so just keep it on NAT & I'm good unless I'm writing zero-day worms or ZD malware?

@Apocalypse Warmachine the ports i needed to listen on have been confgured in both outbound & inbound rules. how do ports work tho? can i just put any number as a port & it'll work? would something like 0013 work a as long as its listed in the firewall rules?

@Apocalypse Warmachine the victim is a remote virtual machine you can find them on Triage. pretty nice i hit a one VM the other day & it worked before but now it doesn't work. same client build same Ip in the settings & still listening on the same port as before. i did however change my DHCP lease time to every 6 hours in my provider gateway, would that be an issue or affect anything?
Is the Quasar rat a safe tool to use?
Is it or not

I don't know, its kinda iffy. I tested it on Triage one time, it hit. The next day i felt like testing it again on triage. it didn't work but ion know why. I have the QR Rat settings set to protect my ip and i also have enabled Dynamic IP through the Wi-Fi settings & modified the DHCP's lease time in my gateway to round every 6 or so, but still Nothing. breakingsecurity.net site is down & never loads so remcos isn't an option either
