Yep. I'll give you a bit of a list of what is charged when someone buys something from me: Tax: processing fee Tax: transaction fee Regulatory operating fee 1.15% of the order total (excluding taxes) Transaction fee 6.5% of order total Processing fee 3% of order total plus $0.25 Tax auto-renew Listing fee $0.20 Tax listing fee So depending on where you're living, it can boil down to quite a bit. The 6.5% is for orders like my case, I am in Canada but in this instance the product was sold to a US customer.

@Sonya M yep, it's not cheap... I think the only perk with the digital is that there's no shipping and you don't have to worry about physical products. Other than that, it's only lucrative if you have at least a dozen sales per day, I think.
Beware Kittl Users Soon Canceling
Hi there, I'm on the KittlDesign group on Reddit and someone said that they reached out to the company about downloading their image generations after canceling their subscription and Kittl said that you can do that, but that all images will have a watermark on them. I'm not sure if it's true, but I for one am making sure I'm getting all my images out of there before my subscription ends. Hope this helps!

Organising Files
Hey team I am hoping someone can help me out or suggest a clever trick. I am getting bogged down in where I am in the creation process. How do I keep everything in a cohesive order so that I know when I go into my files I know what I need to do next instead of questioning, did I upscale that or have I made them into a avg file? I hope that my question makes sense. I am looking for ward to hearing how you all keep your images etc in order and know where you are in a process.

I usually rename the files "upscaled" to ensure I know I don't have to go through the process again. Then before I upload them onto Etsy, I rename them and put "-" between the words (you've probably noticed that Etsy glues the words onto one another). So if it has the "-", I'm definitely done with the process. I also create separate folders for themes and each individual design and add "up" to the end of the folder names to know that I have uploaded them already.
New or Old Existing Etsy Store?
Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I have a question: I currently have an Etsy account that I created back in 2019, but it has only been used for purchases. Now that I'm planning to start selling on Etsy, should I continue using this existing account or open a new one? I'm not quite sure how Etsy handles this type of situation. Any advice would be appreciated!

I don't think it really matters. If you have never had a store before, you can use the same account, I think. I don't think you can use the codes that various Etsy sellers offer for 40 free listings if you've had an account for a while though, so you might want to consider making another one for that reason.

@Angela D that's actually a good idea, I created a separate email address when I opened my store just to make my life easier with managing everything. And if you do that, you can definitely use a code to get those 40 free listings in the beginning! Just create the email address first and then start with opening a store directly instead of creating an Etsy buyer account first.
How do y'all upscale your images?
Hey everyone, I hope you're having a great day wherever you are! I have a question. Since I'm finishing my subscription with Kittl on Nov 23, I was wondering how you guys upscale your images and make them 300dpi. For me, until now it worked like this - if the image was good off the bat, I upscaled it in Kittl and had created the artboard at 300dpi, so I did it all there. If I had to fix it, I took it to Canva or Photoshop, then I came back and upscaled it again in Kittl. Now I have MyDesigns but I did upscale a couple of images and their dpi ended up being 96, not 300, which was probably something I did wrong - once I used the image in the Canvas system and saved and upscaled it from there, it ended up being 300dpi 🫠. I just don't know, MyDesigns' upscaler is probably good enough, but I also don't wanna stress about potentially receiving bad reviews because of the stupid resolution. How do you guys go about things when it comes to 300dpi and upscaling? Do you use another program, do you use a free one? Please help a girl out! 🙏🏻

@Amanda Burke I found a way to avoid that - I open the Canvas system, go to template and select the exact size of the image I uploaded (in pixels), then go and upload it on the Canvas from the Designs section, then save it to Mockup1. Once saved through Canvas, it's 300dpi. Then I upscale it just to be safe (which is why I now make all images under 4096 by 4096 pixels so that they can be upscaled via MyDesigns).

@Heather Wilson I would probably remove the background first and then upscale, but I don't think it matters that much. Good luck with Kittl, I use its upscaling feature for the time being too even though I hate the company with a passion (lol), but at the same time, I can't wait to get rid of it before they roll out the change and steal 75% of my credits for the month.
