Can someone tell me why Canadian interest rate terms typically max out at 5 years? Done a bit of google searching and can't find a decent answer as to why we don't have access to a 30 year fixed mortgage like they do in the states.

Does anyone have a connection to a property management company located in Saskatchewan, willing to look after a 2 bed condo in Regina? Having trouble renting it out on Marketplace. Rents down almost $200 from July 2024 from what I see. DM if you know anything. Thank you!!
