What Are the Must-Attend Conferences in the Freight Industry?
What are the top conferences you attend for growing your business, and what makes them valuable to you? Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Arizona Trucking Association's Annual Meeting and Carrier Conference. My primary goal was to dive deeper into industry trends and connect with leaders in the trucking space. I was impressed by how welcoming and collaborative the community wasโ€”it made networking feel natural and insightful. Curious to hear from others: which conferences or events have been game-changers for your business?

It really depends on your focus. SMC3 is great for LTL. Like @Steven Tittle said, Manifest is phenomenal for technology and keeping up with the new things. Food Shippers is a great conference as well. But only if in the food space.
Favorite Social Platforms
There is a lot going on in the social world. I focus on LinkedIn, but have seen many going to X (aka Twitter) and some references to Reddit. Meanwhile, many drivers are in Facebook groups. What social platform is your favorite to talk about freight?

High Value Insurance
Class I need some help from the freight broker side. I have a new customer that will require HV insurance, since most carriers are only insured up to 100k, how do you usually tackle this? Contingent insurance policy or purchase on a per load basis. For extra credit; if you could also drop some referrals.

You can always get some gap insurance. And there are providers out there for load-specific insurance
Thanks for welcoming me
Looking forward to network and grow in the industry with this great community.
