I’m making a change… MAD (lite) is Now…🥁 👉 MAD (kids) Mindful Athletic Development for Youth Hitters⚾️🥎 Almost every day, I receive messages from parents of youth hitters asking for advice on building their young athletes' confidence, improving swing mechanics, using drills effectively, or helping them overcome their fear of the ball. While I do work with some younger players, my typical clients are ages 13 and up. However, my coaching style focuses on developing the whole player, and I've realized that if I'm not supporting youth players now, I'm not truly supporting the future versions of those same athletes. That’s why I've decided to dedicate this community to helping parents of youth players foster their kids' growth from the 'head down.' In addition to developing the swing, this program will focus on cultivating a mindset that keeps kids learning and growing naturally, building self-esteem, and instilling confidence—even when facing the inevitable challenges of this game. With this foundation, they’ll not only enjoy the game more but also achieve long-term success." Please drop a like or comment on this post if you support this idea🙏 PS If you joined this group as an older player (or parent of) and still looking to develop your mental game as a hitter? Please send me a direct message here in the Skool app by clicking the chat icon at bottom of screen🙏

@Coach Vic The body follows the mind. When you have a strong mindset you will do better. The sooner kids get help with a better mindset, the more ahead they will be as they grow in the game of baseball.

Facts About Coach Vic…
Most people do not know I was drafted a total of 3 times back in ‘03, ‘04, and ‘06 (‘05 injured). The first 2 times I was drafted, was as a pitcher and by the Houston Astros both times, 38th out of high school and 50th round my freshman year in JUCO (funny enough, I led the league as a hitter in HRs and RBIs and was drafted last round as a pitcher. Make it make sense🤷🏻‍♂️) After a medical redshirt my sophomore year (broken foot) I was drafted for the third and final time in ‘06 and was selected in the 15th round by the Colorado Rockies as an outfielder. In JUCO I batted .394, 11 HR, 51 RBI in 35 games and set the intentional walk record with 20 IBB, school HR record with 21, along with 10 saves on the mound clocking my fb 93-95 mph (funny again, this was my best year as a pitcher and highest velo, but NOW I get drafted as hitter🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😂, I wanted to be a hitter anyway) Professional Baseball: 2006 - Team leader in HR and RBIs (COL) 2007 - Mid season MiLB All-Star (COL) 2008 - Not a bad year, but struggled mentally (COL) 2009 - Released by COL 2009 - Signed into Indy Ball 2009 - Indy Ball All-Star .284 with 18 HRs (led league in XBH, Triples, OF assists) '10-'15 - Traded, Injuries, switched to pitcher (‘12 Indy All-Star as pitcher), injured again, back to hitter, released, retired😰) 2017 - I was inducted into my JUCO’s Hall of Fame. 2017 - Became a coach at my JUCO, Got married 2018 - Daughter was born, Started my own business Ferrante Baseball LLC '19-'23 - Built my business and completed 3,000+ hours of 1:1 hitting instruction 2024 - Building an online community to help as many players as possible become the best versions of themselves on and off the field!👊 Just thought I’d share some insight into my accomplishments, experiences, and struggles in this game. I failed a lot along the way, and it wasn’t until I reflected on those failures that I decided to become a coach. This way you know what I teach comes from experience. Hope you enjoyed those fun facts🙏
