Do you want your podcast to look & sound like “Diary Of A CEO”, but have no idea how?
Hey Team, This was one of the best podcast episodes I've ever done. I just interviewed Junaid Ahmed, a home-studio EXPERT with tons of experience building podcast studios that look and SOUND amazing. I was blown away. Here are 5 things I learned from that interview. 1. You should use your iPhone camera as your webcam if you don’t have a good camera 2. There are 3 main lights you need in order to look A+ on camera 3. You should place things in the back that intentionally showcase things about your personality 4. You should aim to reduce the space above your head in the camera frame 5. You need to be looking into the webcam, not at the person’s face on your screen. To get the full details of the things mentioned above, check out the full episode. 👇 https://oh-my-pod-podcast-strategy.cohostpodcasting.com/

Once again very valuable advice. I would also like to mention another added value of a good picture and good sound: Both not only make you look good as a host, but also subtly convey your appreciation to the audience. They sense that someone is making an effort to look and sound good for their guests and target group. And even if this happens subtly, this feeling is very, very important. Because if someone makes an effort for me, I take them seriously and I consider them to be competent, trustworthy and much more likeable.
One Of Our Clients Just Launched Their Podcast
@Stephanie Davis came to us at the start of 2024 with a dream to start a podcast specifically for moms who weren't thriving. Within the first 5 minutes of hearing her show idea we already knew we were going to do it with her.. So we got to work on crafting her show. We designed her artwork, wrote her music, and most important, helped her refine the concept of her show. Together we came up with the name, her show’s tagline (mission), and a whole bunch of other stuff that makes the bones of a great show. We’re beyond happy to announce the launch of “The Thriving Mama”, the podcast that helps moms not just survive, but thrive in motherhood. Stephanie is an absolute veteran in her field and we learned a TON just from putting together her show with her. Most importantly, I want to congratulate Stephanie for taking a massive leap - for putting herself out into the world with no safety net. https://the-thriving-mama.cohostpodcasting.com

Congrats Stephanie, may your podcast baby thrive!
This Podcaster Went From 0-12k Downloads/Month in 1 Year… 🫡
Here’s what I learned from interviewing @Ste Lane, a podcaster who took his show from 0 to 12k downloads per month in 1 year with no pre-existing audience: 1. You’re not preparing well enough for your interviews. 2. The only way to get a guest to truly share the episode is to make the experience so unique that they say things or drop insights that they have never said on ANY OTHER SHOW before. 3. A polished and professional show is great, but MESSY ACTION will always win out. Start now, optimize later. 4. Short clips are good, but so are medium-length clips around 5-10 minutes posted on YouTube. 📹 The full episode is linked below. I hope you guys can check it out! 👇 LISTEN OR WATCH HERE

What a cool episode. Another "aha" moment for me was the statement "You can't compete with someone who is having fun". With all the hard work we put into something, we often forget the fact that EVERYTHING can become more successful when you do it with a certain ease and a lot of enjoyment. I always catch myself wanting something too much - and then I realize that the best results always come when you don't do something compulsively, but because you love it. I think it's no different with podcasting.

To kick things off please comment below introducing yourself. Let us know… #1 Who you are, where you're from and who you work with? #2 What do you hope to get from this community? #3 For fun, what do you like to do? #4 Drop a photo of your office space or where you like to work from. I’ll go first: #1 My name is Celine Albertini and I am a Kinesiologyst and a former teacher turned online entrepreneur, podcast coach and COO of our company Podigy. I was born and raised in Italy and now Justin and I live between Kelowna, BC and South Tyrol, Italy. All thanks to our amazing business and Podcast. #2 I want this academy / community to be the one stop shop for indie podcasters. I remember a few years ago when I was trying to research podcasting on my own… It is hard. There are pieces of information everywhere, but the thing is I lost a crazy amount of time finding them. So we decided to give back to the podcast community and make all of our resources available in one place! #3 For fun I like to travel, work out, hike and hang out with my friends. I am also a very big health enthusiast and I love researching all sorts of health related things. #4
