What would you do? Part 2
How do you handle a situation where a client has reached the maximum number of revisions allowed in their contract but continues to request additional revisions?

Exactly like Darryl said. All extra’s need to be paid for. There are, depending on the client, situation where it can be slightly different but generally this should be the guideline.
What would you do? PART 1
If a potential client says, "I'm sorry that is just not in our budget" how would you respond?

First and foremost, I usually ask what the budget is before I make an offer, so I can make my offer based off of that. If not, I would ask what the budget is, how much above budget is it? What are your expectations from working together, etc,…those are things I basically ask before I start the process of building an offer and start the creative process.

Ask the same questions again. Why do you want video? What will it bring for you and your business,…
Filmmaker with zero sales experience
As you saw the title, Hi it's me. In 2023 I quit my full-time job to start my filmmaking business without any planning next 3 months I did some projects for free but not a single paid project thanks to my sales skills. Later, I joined my full-time job again, and then I started questioning myself that maybe I am not good this is not for me. I did some more free work after that to lift my confidence. Now I am getting better, last week we talked about going out and introducing yourselves to local businesses in the Instagram group. I tried that and trust me that helped. Maybe Soon I will shoot my 1st spotlight video i am pretty confident now after completing my city spotlight course. Go out and introduce yourself to local businesses and talk to them. Keep pushing each other.

I have been in sales for 15 years. The biggest takeaway: make it about them and them only. What is the benefit of those video’s for them? What’s in it for them? Typically if you don’t have the confidence yet, you somehow make it about the benefit for you, change that to how that video is going to change their business/have an impact on their business…Video is not just a “nice to have” it is a necessity. Hope this helps a little bit.
