Do you know any free websites that can track a Spotify playlist growth through a period of time? There’s some playlists that I came across that looks good on the surface, but unsure if there filled with bots or low engagement; and chart metric now charges all together to see a playlist. Love the content you push dawg!
When should you start an LLC as an Artist?
Just finished the taxes portion of the course & was wondering when is it a good time to start an LLC & track all expenses? My concern is I don’t want to start my LLC and pay the yearly fee if my expenses are higher than my profit.

I understand the benefits of concept of having an LLC to separate the business from your personal. The reason I ask if because last year I had an LLC w/ the EIN, I got the business checking and savings account. I didn’t get a credit card (which looking back was a dumb mistake in my end because I didn’t build any credit for my business but it is what it is), I was writing off equipment, studio time, traveling, promo etc. and was keeping track of the expenses. And the whole time the only revenue I was getting was from Royalites which on a good month wasn’t touching the amount I spent on expenses. So I disbanded it because to me it didn’t make sense to get an accountant around tax season to do the yearly fee and taxes if I didn’t make much.

@Traneice Washington So the reason I ask is because if I decide to do another LLC, should I hold off from it and focus on building myself as an artist first and have good revenue coming in so it could make more sense as a business point of view? Or should I just have another LLC, get the checking and credit card, track expenses, and bite the bullet for the yearly fees. Personally I feel like I should figure out a way to have revenue coming in first before having an LLC, just so it can more sense.
Do you have to pay back a business credit card at the end of the due date, or you can pay it off per month?
I know that may seem like a dumb question but I just went over the Business taxes part of the course, and it summed up that it's smart to open a business and use a business credit card to separate the personal, but my question is that if you do that, and use available credit for the business, don't you have to pay it back at the end of the month? Cause I doubt business owners use there credit card for big purchases for the business and pay it all back within a month, especially in the beginning. Just want to know more on how that works. thank you!
