I feel I'm missing something as when I started I was getting over 9k views a day and now I do well to get 1k and earning next to nothing

I was advertising about 4-5 times a day and the views were very high , then a friend told me I was doing it all wrong and shouldn't advertise more the twice a day , so as I was new to all this ,I decided to take her advise and the numbers dropped rapped down from 60k to now 16k but sales have also dropped , ok I was making a fortune but every little counts
