As a fellow U.S. citizen, a supporter of conservative values, and someone committed to seeking truth, I appreciate your concern for the direction of our nation Cpt Hestilow and the role faith plays in it. It’s undeniable that our country was founded on principles that many of us believe reflect a higher moral standard—values like freedom, justice, and the pursuit of truth. However, I believe that while God plays an important role in our individual lives, the Constitution and the political framework of the United States are designed to respect all beliefs and freedoms, including religious ones. As Christians, we are certainly called to vote according to our conscience and values, but we must also respect that our democracy thrives on the inclusion of diverse viewpoints. it’s important that we also seek unity and work to ensure that our democratic processes remain fair, inclusive, and grounded in truth.
