Great advice here Michael! So many people could benefit from the sharing of a life of experience. Probably for me, I know how to get into IT with certifications. So many people think they’re under qualified but all it takes is hard work and thinking the right way.
Calvin riffin on authority
https://www.skool.com/games/leading-a-skool-community-with-authority?p=b1b17be7 Calvin says he believes a group leader needs three kinds of authority and he explains what they are and why we need them to grow our communities. Give it a look and a listen. Less than 8 minutes.

Great video! In my short stint managing a team of 13 guys on a helpdesk, I’ve found that “leading from the front”…is the best way to establish personal authority. If you’re living what you’re asking someone else to do, like being impeccable with your quality of work or showing exceptional service, then they immediately view you, as a leader and someone they want to follow in the hopes that they can be in the future, where you are now.

@Michael Bridges yeah I hope so too! Cooperation always wins.
Engage
@Eric Howell just posted a great tip about group focus which is lacking here. My bad. @Ian Fenwick has a good category with his mushroom group. How would you niche down. Mike has this idea to Help People and they will pay him $$ Lame for sure. He IS thinking about it at least. 🤔 Poll question. Would you prefer getting a email when I post? Is it okay to email if I think you need to see it ASAP? Or would you drop out of the group if I emailed you? Finally, I have a Swipe File category with the tips I think are worthwhile to read. Thanks See you in the hallway or classes.

I would never mind if you emailed me. To be honest, most people are conditioned to receive email that provides absolutely ZERO value. When you send something that adds value they will always appreciate it and want more. As for my group, niching down will be to focus on solving problems for those who want to grow mushrooms for profit.

@Michael Bridges I appreciate the input! I’ll consider these when I’m writing out the curriculum.

These are gems. I’m just now realizing that hitting $100k is just a formula. Learn it, apply it, grind. Simple as putting in the work.
