Volunteer opportunities…
I had the opportunity to volunteer at Hoa Mai Orphanage this morning. They have a garden project that is underway. They are propagating bougainvillea to sell during the Christmas season. Today was all manual labor and I LOVED it. They are a great organization that is run on a shoestring budget. They have about 47 children ranging in age between 3 and 17. @Jan Darr that would be great. They have a great director with the most meaningful mission. She takes care of the orphans under 18 and continues on her own after they age out. She currently is putting five kids through university.

Meet-Up Nov. 14th
*MEET UP LOCATION* - BaLi Quan - Hai Coi - 7pm https://maps.app.goo.gl/LjxjJFHc3jYobyyJ8 We've got quite a few members in the group based in Da Nang now. I think its time we met up for Dinner and Drinks! I'm thinking 7pm Thursday night but also open to Friday night if that's better for the most people. We will Đi Nhậu (Vietnamese style casual eating and drinking) nothing fancy. I have two places in mind, one for chicken wings and beer another for seafood and beer. Have a vote and let me know if Thurs or Friday better for everyone.

Possible Night Gone Wrong
So the night started pretty harmless. A little yoga. Then a swim. Got home and changed for dinner. My go to restaurant was closed but they invited me to drinks and some fingers food. Feeling welcome. The wife goes home with their daughter and now I’m out with husband and two of his friends. We are not at a notorious tourist club on beach road. Expensive drinks. Loud club music. And sexy bar girls. In a VIP booth… will be interesting how the night ends $$$ 🤔 I will update tomorrow. 🥳

The bill has been paid and I feel bad that they won’t let me pay it. As Travis said they would not allow me to. The friend of my friend was more of a baller and ordered the VIP package as well as the Hookah. I got them all dancing which was difficult and a blast. I was a customer for life and now I am friends for life. A GREAT time was had.

So.. most places have h-speed internet 🛜 Does stuff like Netflix, YouTube off my IPhone work there? Can you “mirror” your phone to the TV’s there for American content?? Do they have “packages” available. Planning on a move there in the near future. Thank you 😊

Hey Glenn. Great name by the way. My given name is Glenn but in Asia they called me Grenn. So I was sitting in the Black Pearl Bar and called myself Jack. The rest is history. The smart TVS are set up with Netflix and what not. Getting the language set to English is another thing. You will need to translate the right setting… good luck with that. 😂 It was not easy.
