How to get started
What would be the best advice anyone could give me as someone who spends all my free time trying to get my tv series Idea heard but have no idea of how this industry works or who to talk to?

Hi Jack: you are in the right place to get your question answered. Watch all the videos here, especially Designing Your Proof Project.
Film recs please
Question: does anyone have recommendations for films that use very little dialogue and tells more of a story thru camera work and music? Doesn’t need to be a full film like this but one that uses this technique well in certain scenes?

This should qualify. It’s short, not a lot of dialogue and tells the story through camera work and sound. https://youtu.be/IfgesY42oN8?feature=shared This short is also atmospheric as well. https://vimeo.com/161539265 You might want to look at Eraserhead which is David Lynch’s first movie. Almost all atmosphere and little dialogue if I recall. It is black and white and is full out David Lynch.
Free use music
Emily heard about this while researching music for her film. https://www.opengoldbergvariations.org/ It’s Bach and the samples sound pretty good. FYI one of the more famous recordings of this is by Glenn Gould. (That recording not free).
