Hey All! I'm James in the Denver Area of Colorado. Would love to connect with some others in the area if you're here. I've been running my video production agency for years and usually just doing it on the side while I do weddings and such. Since moving to Colorado, I've been struggling to get clients since I have no connections whereas in my old state where I grew up, I was able to get somewhat consistent work and even had a retainer client. Looking forward to scaling my business so I can get out of the wedding space here in Colorado.

@Dave Lisowski cold reach outs is about it
Are there any replays/specific videos on getting new (cold) clients?
Joined this course intending on learning a bunch on how to get new clients since it seemed to be a selling point of the course of "winning." I am very strong in the sales department and usually have no problem getting the sale, doing a sales call, getting things booked/paid, etc. since I'm not new in the industry but im also not a full time pro (I do mostly weddings/elopements now but trying to get out of them after moving). B2B is so much different than B2C when getting new clients. However I moved to a new state with 0 connections whereas my old state I grew up in, I had plenty and no shortage of commercial work. It wasn't my primary source of income but it was a great secondary and had clients + a retainer client that was just enough for me. Since moving and having 0 connections, I've found it nearly impossible to get new clients so I figured I would see what this course has to offer. I know its only a $40 course so I shouldn't expect a whole lot in terms of detailed aspects but I found one of the more important videos about getting new clients to be quite vague/basic filled with info I already knew just from posting on free FB groups and asking others who are successful in the industry. Basically the whole "go network, go to events, chamber of commerce, etc" type outreach without going further into detail. Of course the community aspect is the better part of most courses, was hoping to get some more insight and help. Are there any replay videos or resources in this course that go a little more in depth on getting your clients via cold reach. Either in person, online, etc? It seems a lot of the course is focused on the after you get in contact with someone vs getting them in the first place. Although helpful, I cannot really use the sales process information if I have no one to sell to. So I plan to watch those videos once I actually get someone in my inbox so I can spend time on other things like getting clients.

Can someone explain the chamber of commerce & BNI?
This has been probably the number 1 thing I hear people say to do when trying to get new leads. I moved to a new state so I have zero connections here so I am having to rely on cold leads for the most part. Chamber of commerce being the number 1 and BNI being close second. I don't really understand how it works? I don't even know what the chamber of commerce is, how it works, how it can help you meet other businesses, etc. Do they have like weekly meetings you can go to, to meet people or what is this exactly? BNI seems to be a business website. How do you use BNI to find or meet new connections to network with? I tried to dive deep into both of these in the past but came out with not much information or ideas of how these work or how to use them.

Well...Outreach Works Guys
Who would have thought 😂 After attending the Community Calls and Workshop of last week, the common denominator of these was about how to get clients and create deals, and the first step, shocker, is to communicate with them! I took Ceebz advice about the video selfie message when reaching out to a warm lead, and I just sent two of them to two warm leads I met last week, and in under 20 minutes they BOTH responded and said that they would be eager to have a call next week to discuss how to move forward with me as their guy. I was super nervous at first, sending a video like that, but I just made it a conversational tone, as what was highly suggested, and it was super easy! One of my leads even sent a selfie video BACK to me, explaining how she was excited to do this work, and she wants me to be the one to do it. I sent one last night, I am yet to hear back, but a solid 2/3 is not a bad ratio as of yet haha! I am gonna start expanding my net more so to speak and approach more people! I'll keep you Savages in the loop 😎
