FB Personal Account suspension issues
Hey everyone, I just received an email stating that my personal Facebook account has been restricted from advertising due to a violation of the platform's advertising policies regarding elections and politics (a topic I am not involved in at all). The message indicated that I need to verify my information or risk having my account banned. I have been seeing this notification frequently across all the Facebook ad account dashboards I manage. However, every time I clicked the button to verify my identity, it redirected me to a page confirming that my identification had already been successfully verified, with no further action required. Because of this, I assumed it was a glitch on Facebook’s side (please refer to the screenshot attached below). Now, my account has been suspended, and when I click the button in the email to request a review, it takes me to the same page that states my identity is already confirmed. While I could initiate another verification by selecting "running ads about social issues, elections, and politics," it clearly states that this process is only for individuals discussing topics related to politics, law, and immigration. Additionally, it mentions the need to be authorized to advertise in the relevant country (I run ads across multiple geos and would need verification for each). However, none of my clients are even remotely involved in these topics. Has anyone encountered this issue or has any feedback on how to resolve it? Is there perhaps a high-level contact at Facebook who could help address this properly? I manage around $600K–$700K in monthly ad spend, and multiple businesses rely on me ( over 70+ people) to run ads to acquire new customers, so a prompt solution to this is crucial for their survival. Again, my identity has already been confirmed. Thanks in advance for any help!
