What makes a course great?
I'd love to hear how you make your golf course selection when playing each weeek and how you determine what makes a great course compared to a normal course?

A great course is one that has a friendly staff that gives superb customer service. A place to grab a meal and a drink at a reasonable price that makes you want to come back. And a well maintained course with lush grass and smooth greens with enough difficulty to make it interesting.

Just come to Moore County North Carolina. Get a VRBO in Pinehurst, and choose from more courses than you can play in a month.

Wilson balls.
Has anyone else used the Wilson range of balls? I have been using the Wilson Staff Tour X ball (around $60 a box) and find them very good. I hear that the Triad is an excellent ball, has anyone used that? Thoughts?

I have used the Duo-Soft and the Triad. The Triad is a great middle of the spectrum ball and the Duo is slightly firmer than a marshmallow.

Favorite equipment in your bag?
What is your favorite club or accessory in your bag and why? I’ll start. I have an American Putter Company custom putter with engravings of my family names on it. Then I rusted it for a fun look in the greens.
