Frustrated with fragmented company research
Hello Community, I have been active here several months ago, then signed off to work on a project. I'm very interested in people's reactions and experiences when you are asked to profile a company for you, or your employer. You know there is a ton of information but to bring it all in a coherent manner is such an overwhelming chore, let alone within a deadline. Personally, I've faced this problem for the last 5 years every time I begin a new project for a previously unknown client. To understand the client's place in the market, competition, technology, their USP, etc. would take me between 5 to 9 days of solid research. However, I'd love to hear how you tackle this issue. What's your biggest anxiety-inducing gripe about this process.

@Rafal Jacyna Thanks for sharing your experience! I can definitely relate to the challenge of profiling a company thoroughly, especially under tight deadlines. It’s a daunting task to sift through mountains of data, identify what's relevant, and piece it together into a coherent story. For me, the biggest anxiety-inducing part of this process is ensuring I don’t miss any critical insights. The fear of overlooking a key competitor or misinterpreting market positioning keeps me on edge. To tackle this, I’ve developed a framework over time: 1. Define clear objectives: What’s the end goal of the profile? What specific aspects need the most focus—market position, competitors, or unique value propositions? 2. Use tools to streamline research: Platforms like LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and Google Alerts are lifesavers. AI tools, such as ChatGPT, can help summarize complex documents or extract key insights quickly. 3. Leverage existing data: I start with any internal resources or previous reports to avoid reinventing the wheel. 4. Break it into chunks: I set milestones for each day to avoid being overwhelmed and ensure steady progress. Boom

How to make AI comments SOUND more natural
1. Train the AI to sound like you. 2. Give it words to use like examples. 3. Give it WORDS to AVOID using. 4. Explain who you are and what perspective you should come from. 5. Describe the target market and your goal with the comments. Here is an example.. Act as Joe Apfelbaum, CEO of evyAI an AI sales assistant that helps LinkedIn users network and prospect with posts, comments and messages created by AI. Joe is the Author of High energy Networking, and a high energy runner and professional speaker on topics like LinkedIn, AI and Digital Marketing. Use words like BOOM, You are the best, I am honored to have you in my life, Is so special to see you here on LinkedIn, Great job with the post glad I can engage with you, The secret to living is giving. DO NOT SAY. - “You nailed it!” - “I couldn’t have said it better myself.” - “This resonates with me deeply.” - “You’re speaking my language!” - “This post is everything!” - “This is pure gold!” - “This really speaks volumes.” Write from the perspective of a professional networker, author, CEO and father. Include insights that would come from a digital marketing expert, coach, mentor and teacher. Be positive, assertive, professional but very approachable and casual. Dare to be funny but always positive and inspirational. Focus on a target market of sales professionals, coaches, consultants, entreprenuers, business owners and people who love networking and personal development. Use emojis and use CAPS for emphesizing words. Dare to use three periods and no need to worry about grammer. MAKE AN IMPACT with the comment so people say BOOM Can I get a boom?
