Great work. Damnit, you’re catching up! 😂
KDP Cracked…
So far I have created 11 books covering specific topics in one niche market. I followed the KDP Cracked process but I used an alternative tool to ChatGPT. After generating the books, I edited them by adding some of my own insights and experiences. I added a few anecdotes examples to make my books unique and more humanised. I followed the guidance on making book covers including finding suitable titles and blurbs for the back covers. Because they are all related topics in a common niche, I have included links to my other books in each book. This took some figuring out as I had to edit each book after they were published. This month (September 2024) my KDP Dashboard is showing a total of £489 in royalties for all 11 books. Those books will continue to make money without me needing to take any further action. Although, when I eventually get paid into my bank account, I plan to reinvest into paid adverts.

@Steven Andrews I’ve gone with a brand name for the series of books together with my real name (I am known in the market). Broadly speaking it’s a sub niche within the self development market.
Who Will I Be?
I'm stalled at the starting gate! I cannot claim to be an expert on anything and have no real online persona other than as a POD Etsy shop owner with my name and picture supplied on the storefront. I don't see this transferring to Amazon KDP. My question is this: is it harder to attain success on KDP without being a visible person, vs a 'company'? I am already set up on Amazon KDP with a company name to sell low-content books such as planners. Would it make sense to add informational books done through KDP Cracked to this? Or should I add another, different identity for Cracked to my planners? Thoughts, please!

@Beverley Bedard Maybe start by asking ChatGPT to list the top ten problems, things a beginner would need to learn about or pain points in <market> and then list them in a logical order. That would give you a potential series of books 😉

@Beverley Bedard You could create a brand… like the <topic> For Dummies. Then just add a pen name as author/editor. Then build a website around your brand name. Don’t jump the gun… start making money before you create a website 😉
Hi!
Another one here from the UK! I am an AI cracked student which is how I found Demetris, after dabbling with KDP in the past. Just need to put it into practise!

Just start. I made a lot of mistakes with my first book.. I wasn’t happy with the first version, so I went back to the beginning and started again. I’m still learning, but the more you create, the better you get.😉
What Niche
Just wondering what niches people are in ? I'm looking to get into the travel niche moving forward into 2025, if there's anyone out there already in this niche, any advice would be welcome. TIA

I have a travel related website. It can be a very profitable niche if you drill down for keywords with less competition. In other words… keyword research is critical. Creating a book for each major keyword and linking to resources on my site is on my to-do list.
