Nobody knows if the price is going up or down, so don't ask. And always speak to a financial advisor for professional investing advice. But the way I see it, the more bitcoin I get now, the richer I'll be in the future. Is it guaranteed? Of course not. But is it possible? Sure is. I predict by the year 2035, the price of Bitcoin will be (at least) 1 million dollars per coin (and that's being conservative.) But to make sure YOU are able get bitcoin at the best price, and to make sure YOU store it securely... And you need to understand how bitcoin works. And this community will help you do just that! So welcome :)

@Paul Cerone Buy bitcoin from an exchange (robinhood, strike, coinbase...etc). In order to do this you will need an address which will store the bitcoin. So now that you've purchased the bitcoin you want to store it in a hardware wallet which you retain the private keys to. This is the most important part of properly holding btc. Buy a trezor and from there it's self explanatory. But ask questions if you need more guidance.

@Claudia Luca Yep the wallet randomly generates the address. You should generate a new address everytime you go to receive bitcoin

Why don’t you teach people how to instead cold store bitcoin. This is Jesus teaching people to fish
8,000 Bitcoin are being bought everyday
And only 900 are produced. Welcome to the new ETF era. And guess what happens in April? 8,000+ BTC will keep being purchased everyday. But only 450 will be produced... Study how supply and demand works. It's very simple.

As long as the mining pools don’t get over 50% bitcoin is sovereign money. We must make sure the mining pools don’t corroborate with each other

If you are a real bitcoiner you would never answer a poll like this. Any BTC I ever bought was lost in a boating accident
Start9 full node
Does anyone else run a bitcoin node? I’m not talking about mining but just a full node. I have bitcoin core running but I’d love to learn more.

I’ll never dive into anything other thank Bitcoin. I believe everything else is a POS (piece of shit) lol pardon my French. I run a start 9 pre fabricated server. It’s sleek. I use Ride the Lightning and Electrum. I have a custom backend setup too for all my tx’s. It’s a nascent technology and I look forward to the future.

@Mark Mage what do you think the electrical cost is to host a full node. It can’t be that much is it?
