Best “free” 3D modeling software?
Hey all, what 3D modeling software you all recommend? Pros and cons? Preferable free ones or low cost. I know it all depends on what I want to focus on, but what would be the best one in terms of a good beginner friendly and wide range of application? Thank you very much!!

Most have a free version. Just try them and make the same model in all off them and figure out which one works best for you. Did this with freecad, thinkercad, fusion360, onshape. If you are a student fusion360 and onshape, give you a free account for the school year.

Filament drawer pvc version

@John Beima ah my misunderstanding. There are screw hole on the frames so you can secure them to the plate. In my case the plate itself is not secured so printed an extra clamp for it.

@John Beima np, I think, I've putted it in the description as well. But I didn't provide a clamp, figured it depends on the shelve and you can find enough of those online

Kickstarter
Got the suggestion to run a kickstarter for my chessboard design. Does anyone as any experience with this? Tips & tricks? ( If from belgium, taxes or other legal stuff I should take in consideration? )
