I have a 9:1 tax mitigation strategy that produces 15% returns for 5 years with a return of capital in 5 years. ie. 100K placed into the strategy would net a $1M tax deduction and produce 15K a year. Looking for those with an open mind who believe the strategy may benefit their client

Some may remember that I had a case close this time last year. My Client preferred to do this anonymously because of some very close ties that exist while a family member is still employed at the institution. So while the client nor I are mentioned the attached item tells the story of what we got accomplished. I think this is the first time in my 40 plus years that a case I helped create and close has been held out as an example for others to follow in print media.

With my change in work from full time to semi retired I can sometimes miss the joy of being a grandfather and having the time to be Pappa Bear to my 2 grandsons for worry over not working full time. Being Pappa Bear is a great blessing and something I will not get a second chance to do. I am truly having a fun day with my older grandson at the Park after a brief visit with my daughter and my younger grandson. Being a Managing Director with Redwood Tax Specialists gives me great freedom and while it is a community with standards and expectations it does not bring the stress and strife past experiences held. I like to work at my own pace and on larger more complex situations. Meeting up with Redwood was a great blessing for me!

I have an interesting follow up to the Planned Giving case I did in 2022. My client has realized what an opportunity he missed some 40 years ago in not buying an good whole life or UL policy for his own personal accumulation of wealth. So he has asked me to put together a plan for his twins. One is a Boy and one is a girl. We are showing both at 29 and a million dollars. Well what do you know. The guideline level premium is the maximum you can deposit annually without creating a Modified Endowment Contract and losing most of the great tax favored features of life insurance accumulations. For the daughter the GLP is $37,539 for her twin brother the GLP is $44,450. The Guideline Single Premium for the daughter is $174,931 and for her twin brother is $197,563. Transgender rights do not over ride biology. Something to consider is that the crazy Social Justice warriors may force us all to go Unisex and that just means higher costs. If I were a woman and needed life insurance I would get mine ASAP! Any thoughts or comments?
