For my brick and mortar practice, I've reached out to one of our HMO insurance companies to begin sending us patients. For my online business, I have to admit, I've done absolutely nothing. I haven't solicited family and friends because they don't have children who need my services - they all have typically-developing children. My audience's number one place to hang out is between Facebook and YouTube. They are using Facebook for the comradery and community of fellow special needs moms in the struggle. They are also on YouTube searching for how-to videos. They hang out on IG and TikTok for fun. If they hang out in person, it's going to be a mom's group for kids with some kind of special need. The groups are usually diagnosis specific. But hanging out in person is somewhat rare because of their child's diagnosis. The last place they're "hanging out" is on Amazon. That's where they buy most of their products. But they're not really "hanging," they're shopping, mainly while the kids are in school or late at night after nine or ten pm.

So… I found groups on Reddit! “SpecialneedsChildren” had 3.8 members. An autism group had 254k members Google ad words: the most searched was cerebral palsy, developmental disabilities, autism services, and special needs. There were no searches for the words, “baby exercises” and “kid exercises.” Special-needs exercises only received 10 to 100 average monthly searches Answer the Public - there were A LOT of questions about developmental disabilities and Autism Amazon and Google: cerebral palsy and autism are huge. I have further narrowed down my niche quote. I think I need to be working with mothers of children, who have cerebral palsy, Autism, and developmental disabilities. I didn’t realize how HUGE developmental disabilities really was. It’s the diagnoses The doctors give kids while they’re doing tests for another diagnosis so they can start therapy.

Here are my influencers: 1. Allison Reynolds - she has a Facebook group called CP warriors, Mommies, Daddies, Grandparents, and Caregivers. She has 12.3 K people in her group. Allison has a daughter with cerebral palsy, and in her group they talk about all of the issues surrounded having children with cerebral palsy and other special needs associated with the diagnosis. 2. Nicole Johnson - she has a Facebook group also called Special Needs Parents Support and Discussion Group. There are 59K in this group. This is more of a support group. The members in here are raw and honest. I am actually a part of this group, and it gives me so much insight information about the thought process of my patients’ parents. 3. Sophie Mustafaa - this woman is so cool. She has a group called Cerebral Palsy and Disabilities. She has 59K followers on Facebook. She educates about cerebral palsy. She also has cerebral palsy. 4. Samantha Renee - she is considered the third most influential, disabled purses. She is a speaker and activist. She also has osteogenesis. 5. Shane Burcaw - he has 58K followers on Facebook and over 14,000 YouTube subscribers. He he and his typically-abled wife post about being an inter-abled couple. Their posts are really funny and engaging. Shane is an author and he has a nonprofit organization. I found some YouTubers that posted videos of physical, Occupational, and speech therapy exercises but you couldn’t really call them influencers. I didn’t find any YouTube channel at all that details exercises from all three disciplines
