Self releasing artists...
Which distribution platform are you using and why? I been reading Reddit threads but I'm overwhelmed with conflicting info and opinions... Please share your experiences with any given distribution platform you have used to release your own music on!

UnitedMasters for most of the music before them Bentley records but Bentley now you can do everything else like an all in one platform Spotify ads & playlist Apple Music playlist & everything. I know the reputation online is iffy, but theyโ€™re actually pretty great.
Live Show Revenue
Question, has anyone experimented with streaming all your live shows on live? Or like just a web series hybrid live show event? Iโ€™m looking into it because Iโ€™ve always had more viewers with preforming live (In person I usually can fill a 50 cap venue. On the last southeastern tour we did 150/200 cap venues and were bringing 80/120 heads depending on the city). So now what Iโ€™m thinking is do hybrid events but charge $3/Ticket for online or have them subscribe to our IG/Youtube/Tiktok and if itโ€™s possible with Twitch then them too and preform on subscribers only live.

With Zoom I'm not doing southing right in the audio setup because I usually get a few people saying they can't hear the performance. I'm just trying to figure out how to get that part right. I also thought about selling BTS green rooms (VIP) with zoom that will basically make the show live streamed (before and after even after party) but its all a building out process right now.
Recommendations for subscription based platform.
I look forward to doing paid ads from what we will learn from Jens to gain more of my paid subscription tier subscribers. But does anyone have a community on or like Patreon for their music fan base? If yes, please if you donโ€™t mind sharing what has really worked for you thus far in gaining paid monthly subscribers? What do your tiers look like and how many do you have? I started mine this month and so far I have 1 fan who pays $10 monthly and another fan paid for a year subscription. So 2 in total so far. Trying to see how to build my paid subscriber music fan base. Thoughts? Recommendations? Instead of Patreon I use an app named Single.xyz which hosts my members directly to my site.

Iโ€™m looking too. Iโ€™m actually thinking IG/TIKTOK/Youtube and Twitch would be great. My goal is to create the same paid subscribers but Iโ€™m thinking knowing the โ€œPerformanceโ€ fee off and every show I do interviews etc just doing subscribers only broadcast straight to them. I know patreon works well but itโ€™s not widely used enough for me personally. Iโ€™ll keep you updated on how itโ€™s going for me but BeatStars has a subscription service Iโ€™m starting to use too and I do know a lot of producers thatโ€™s able to make a stable income from that.

Hello, gangers Larsen here I'm 23 and pursuing mostly talent management (mostly social media and day-to-day) I'm Haitian-American living in New York. Pastimes beyond my love of music include embittered Lakers and Bills fandom, chess, and making memes. I've been involved in music making since 2020/2021 though I am also planning to grow into songwriting.
