The Skool Games launch for March
Did anyone watch the launch live earlier? I couldn't sadly, because I was meeting my young sons up at the train station, then bringing them home for Minions pasta shapes on toast. How was it? Am going to catch up shortly on YouTube.

How do you know about this? I did not get any notification about it. Is it because I do not have a community yet?

@Jason Arnopp oh. Guess it would be because I have yet to follow them. šŸ‘
Starting with Skool
So I am still debating on creating a skool community. After watching some videos. There are some ideas starting a free skool to warm up your clients is a good start but takes longer to gain revenue. When you have a free community are you still paying $99 a month? How are you covering the cost when the group is free? Can you start with a free group say during your trial and then convert it to paid? Is there a way to lock courses for paid members only in skool or would you have to use outside sources like Stripe? Is that hard to set up? My community will be crochet-focused as I own an Etsy shop where I sell physical products and digital patterns. I want to create this group to help those wanting to learn to crochet especially if you're left-handed. I have some basic videos and then incorporate my patterns with videos. Thoughts?

@Jason Arnopp thank you. I am thinking of focusing my community on those who crochet and want my patterns or those who want to learn. So I was not planning on showcasing physical products unless linked to my patterns. I, unfortunately, can not afford to pay $99 a month without a way to cover the cost. I am also not sure if being an affiliate will work with my target audience. I appreciate the feedback and will continue to work out the kinks. Do you have suggestions on what I should plan out now before I create the group? I posted about the opportunity in my pattern tester group on Facebook with no interest as of right now. I would like to have about 5-10 people as my beta or founding members before I sign up. Which may be harder than it looks. Thank you

@Jason Arnopp Yes, that is exactly what I want to do. I did look up crochet and noticed the group. Seemed more like every craft vs just crochet. Thank you for your insight I will work on gathering members first and go from there. Thank you!
