I still remember the thrill of landing my first editing job using just my smartphone. The agency was impressed, and I was hooked. After wrapping up two successful projects, I upgraded to a laptop this year, eager to take my skills to the next level. Diving headfirst into After Effects and Premiere Pro, I honed my craft. But despite my progress, the agency projects suddenly dried up. I was left wondering why. Undeterred, I continued creating, sending out trials to potential clients. The feedback was frustratingly consistent: "Your video is nice, editing skills are good, but we can't work with you due to slow delivery." The culprit? My lagging PC, struggling to keep up with After Effects' demands. Rendering times were excruciating, and deadlines loomed. Determined to overcome this hurdle, I shifted focus to Premiere Pro. Its efficiency and speed allowed me to produce quality work without the lag. Hey everyone 👋 Some of you are from my old Skool group and some of you are new, regardless thank you all for joining this group! I want to mention that inside some of the resources and course content you will see "The Video Editing Academy" logo and branding in some places. Please disregard this, the video editing academy was my old business and I have now rebranded into "The Creator Launch Academy"! The reson for this rebrand and for starting a completely new Skool group with this new branding is becasue I ran into some licensing issues with the video editing academy which worked out because this group will have a focus on mainly video editing but also on YouTube growth and building your own personal brand as a video editor. I have worked for the past 7 years as an editor and it is where my passion is the strongest but I have more recently worked as a YouTube strategist for some really big names in the space as well so The Creator Launch Academy will be focused on video editing with a sub focus on YouTube growth and personal brand building!
