Hi all!! I'm back in motion. I'm just gonna start posting with the How to Stop Binge Eating Forever website, because I can't wait any longer. :D Sometime soon, I'll transition to the more basic How to Stop Binge Eating, but for now, we're sticking with the forever one! :D Keep your eye out for emails and youtube videos coming up. Podcast launching whenever possible. How are YOU? (Also: my kids are off school right now for fall break, so it's been tough for me to manage it all :)

Hey Fam!! Quick note to tell you that I am having major problems right now getting my emails to you. EEK! I have been sending some lately and with the domain switch, many of you aren't getting my emails anymore (they're going directly to spam, etc) So please take one quick second to whitelist my email addresses: email@howtostopbingeeatingforever.com cheri@howtostopbingeeatingforever.com Ways to whitelist: -- You can add the above email address to your contacts or -- You can search your inbox, spam, and trash folders now for my name "cheri" to see if my emails are going in the wrong spot. Then drag it to your Primary folder to make sure you get them!Β (and hit YES if it asks you if you want to save this preference) I will be doing a mix of "how to stop bingeing/overeating" content along with "eat to live" content, so nothing much has changed in the way of what I'll be talking to you about. @Trina Southe You had a delicious food protocol! I'm so sorry to hear about your son's surgery. We will all pray for a positive outcome. The more sugar we eat the more we want. It's only "natural" in times of stress. However you might want to look at how ripe the banana is whenever you eat it. Possibly in a smoothie and with Nice Cream. A frozen, sweet banana is ok, but with breakfast if you have a less sweet banana you might set the tone for the day for desiring less "sugar".πŸ€”πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ¦‹πŸ™πŸ’
September Challenge! Leave 1 Bite
Hi all!! I'm wanting to do monthly challenges! They will vary in length. This month, since there's only a few days left, we are going to do a "Leave 1 Bite" challenge for the rest of September. You will leave 1 bite on your plate at each meal, whether it's a salad, smoothie, hamburger, anything! And work with yourself to calm your thoughts around food waste, OCD, "might as well", etc :) Feel free to post about the discomfort you feel, and we can talk about it! Let me know how it's going periodically. I'm gonna do this with you! So my challenges right now are 1 Salad Per Day (indefinitely), and Leave 1 Bite Until Oct 1. Who's with me???? Comment below!

@M W Isn't it possible to use Teresa's list and stop before her statement "I left behind a bite". And use either "I decided when to stop", or "I was satisfied"?πŸ€” I think Teresa's list might be valid either way. Also, I think one could "overeat" or "emotionalally eat" with any kind of food. Even Nutritarian food. And one can emotionally eat even if they are underweight. Very easily.πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I am currently underweight slightly. But due to many "circumstances" or my "thoughts about the circumstances" I will find myself "overeating" many times. πŸ˜‹ I think what determines whether you've overeaten or not is how your body feels a short time later or the next day.πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ So, back to the core of the question "does" the "challenge" work" for anyone no matter what kind of food they eat or how much they weigh?πŸ€” I'm not sure. I think it depends on can you leave behind perfectly good food, that you may normally want? But would only eat it if you were hungry. And you are eating at that time because of "how you feel" or "how you are thinking"? If you listened to @Cheri Salcedo 's You Tube "presentation" on "Comfort Food" and apply her principles mentioned then. The bottom line was "mindset thoughts". Which brings us back to "The Model" where you find "The Thouht Brings The Result" Think about it.πŸ€”πŸ•ŠπŸ¦‹πŸ™πŸ’–
