How to start selling merch soon
I have been recently rapping since May 2022. I discovered that us as artists are able to sell merch on Amazon, through our Amazon music for artists. All you have to do is apply, follow the process, design your merch and start making money.

Nice, thanks!
PreSaves
I've not used presaves as a marketing/promo tool before, do you think they work or not? Who has had a good presave launch. Presaves doesn't automatically mean they will listen. So im curious how to best use them for an effective outcome. Please share any experiences. Thanks

I did a pre-save/pre-sale for my album a 2 years ago and charted at #13 on the iTunes r&b chart on release day...I don't see the harm.

When I’m about to release something I always go on socials and look at the roll out of someone signed to a major label in my genre that recently released something. Then I scale that to what I can do. Granted they have a larger fan base but I’d say it’s a great starting point. I’d also say with pre-saves it depends on your goal. If you trying to chart on release day then I’d say it’s needed. If you don’t really care then 🤷🏾‍♀️
I Went Viral Using the Advice in This Video
Man...so I was considering re-pushing a song that I released in 2020 because I feel like it has great potential for further reach. I watched this video, reposted a snip from the music video with the caption, "Did she just write the homebody national anthem?" and 24 hrs later the video had over 100k views on tik tok. I decided to post it on instagram too and in the last few days its gained some good traction on there as well, close to 400k plays. My IG followers doubled (I was stuck a 4,000 something forever, lol) and tik tok grew from 600 to 7,000. Streams are going up too. Thinking that I should run an ad to capitalize on that. Anyone have a similar experience and have some advice on what to do next? Also, if you've sleeping on pushing that old release that didn't get enough traction....I say do it :)

@Mikka Simone Thank you! I apologize for the delay, I haven't been on here in a while....I ran ads when I initially released it however, I did not run ads after it went viral (aside from one targeted ad to a specific city for a live show)

Seeking artists with more unique styles of content
I find myself stuck in not making content because most of my ideas require a lot of resources. Through the years I've learned how to scale down my endeavors but I can't help feeling my concepts are Sisyphean against against who can upload 6-7 times a day who possibly have a lower motivational threshold than me when it comes to wanting to be invested in what I upload pass algorithm results. To be clear I'm not "anti convention" to be cool my optimism feels, I just haven't found my "tribe" who creates content in a way I could see my doing as well. All genre of artist is welcomed for suggestion, I'm willing to study anyone.

When you say your ideas require a lot of resources, can you give an example?
