A Question For the Teachers
How do you decide what you're going to deep dive study? What sparks you to go from "just reading Scripture" to "I must seek out every detail of this subject/paradigm"?

@Marc Bates Still. Even with people, we speak in love, not roasting them. It's the one thing I don't dig about the whole Hebrew Roots movement. So many people willing and eager to attack others. It's not my game. I left Facebook in 2018 because of the attacks of alleged enlightened Torah Christians. Only יהוה can change a heart. Our infighting only brings disgrace.

@Marc Bates I am, yes. I speak from the point of view of someone who has been attacked for speaking truth in love to people I thought were friends and also Torah followers. So yeah. I'm very wary of people I don't know. And to my point of view, your words felt aggressive. But since you took the time to explain, I better understand where you are coming from. Thank you.

The current Pope seems to be more of a laughing stock than any "vicar". Even dyed in the wool Catholics see him as the fraud that he is. But here's a thought? What if "For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will lead many astray.” also means people like, say, Joel Olsteen? He also comes in the name of Jesus, claiming Jesus is indeed Christ, but still leads people astray with false prosperity gospel theology. So my thought is this. Yeshua meant it for both types of deceivers. He means it for anyone who teaches a gospel other than Torah.

@Yochannah Sanders the 1990s Christian Rock band SC Talk preludes their song "What If I Stumble" with "The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians who acknowledge Jesus with their lips than walk out the door and deny Him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world finds unbelievable." Surely there is a way to get the message out to bring those who have walked away, whether it be because they see the hypocrisy of either the Catholic Church or mainstream Protestant churches. We Torah believers have got to figure out how.

Ready to Discuss Armageddon?
Let's Begin a chat about the parallel of Daniel 11 and Revelation 16. I am going to do something many would NEVER expect. I am using a study guide from the prominent teacher J. Vernon McGee as our guide. I certainly do not agree with every facet of his perspective, BUT I do like how he organized the topic. Keep in mind, that much of prophecy and the study of it is speculative. However, we have much more information available to us now than ever before, so as we discuss PLEASE do not assume anyone is ever correct on every point.
