Skool or FB group? Your Vote Matters!
Hi everyone! I did a small test of about 100 people in this free Skool Community. I initially only let 100 people in but then I let a few more in that came organically. My goal was to experience using Skool as a place for my free community to come together as opposed to Facebook. I think there are pros and cons to both. I'm going to end this test now and I'd like to survey you to understand how you want me to move forward with my free community. Do you want to stay here on Skool or would you like to have it on Facebook? Things to think about: - Are you actually coming into this Skool group and interacting/ consuming content/ asking questions/making connections? - Would you actually go into the FB group and interact/ consume content/ ask questions/make connections? - When you get emails from the Skool system about the posts I make, do you make an effort to come and read/watch? - If I emailed you about something I posted in the FB group would you go and read/watch? Please let me know your thoughts. The way you want to interact with me matters and I want to be able to reach you in a way that is not ignored and I want to be able to create a safe and collaborative environment you are excited to pop into each day.

I see pros and cons as well =-). For me, I'd rather have "one less thing" to logon to and check....so FB is my choice.

@Elina Solaita good point! Facebook can be distracting! I didn't think of that!
New Here 🙋🏽‍♀️
Hi! I'm new here and it says to introduce myself so HELLOOOO, everyone! I sold my business in January and I am looking for new opportunities to work from a laptop, help people, and have it all! I'm hoping this is a place that can be a useful resource. I am constantly described as a "strong, independent woman" and I am pretty sure a lot of that comes from my upbringing. I'm Gen X and was pretty much a latch key kid. I was raised by a single mom for the most part. We had to feed ourselves after school, weren't really taught how to do things but how to figure them out. We had to be good for our word and show up when we said we would, be home when it was curfew. I am extremely curious and pretty savvy, always up for new experiences. I believe in a well balanced life. That includes mental and physical health! I exercise daily, sleep well, have positive relationships with friends and family. Hopefully, I can start living my BEST life soon!

Long answer....cause that's sort of how I roll. =-) I want it to help people...not just make their "spaces pretty" (but that too, of course ;-) I love a freelance/by appointment lifestyle. I really love the hands-on approach so I hope people will hire me to actually help with the remedies we find. They can do it on their own (like a "to do" list) but I like to see it through start to finish. I want to be able to visit Aspen (insert any city) for a week (or so) and have 5 (or so) clients lined up so I can do those while I visit. All business expenses and I get to go to cool places! I have friends everywhere so I will start there! I've done freelance/word of mouth Feng Shui in the past and my most memorable ones are 1-a chef who hired me for the restaurant where he worked. He said their customers noticed right away that it felt better for some reason. Sales went UP! 2-a friend who was going through divorce. There was a fish tank in a really undesirable place in her condo. She told me they had fought about it. She didn't want to put it there but gave in to him. I say Feng Shui played a role in that. They did not reconcile but she is re-married with a waaaayyy better husband! First Destiny, Second Luck, Third Feng Shui. Feng Shui is "subtle" in the space. People feel good and they can't explain why. Things change, life gets better. Thanks for the chat!
