Today I’m in Brisbane. I’ve already had a meeting with my Chairman in regards to our strategy towards our first acquisiton. And I’ve just come out of my first meeting with an outside accounting firm (top 8). About to go into my next. The first meeting was embarassing. The SENIOR PARTNER casually dressed, the remainder of the workers wearing fucking t shirts and jeans with runners on. Meanwhile I’m prepared with my executive summary in presentation form. 3-piece suit. you could sense the embarrassment. All you need is a winning edge. That being my 3 piece suit (my uniform). And you’ve got them… any advantage you can get.

Today I’ve hit the ground running. Visualising my goals is important, and one better, having a obvious reminder in front of my face all day while I work keeps me on track to make sure I’m focused on my goals. Something as simple as printing out your goals and setting clear and attainable actions that move you closer to that goal every second of the day make failure impossible.

Yesterday I took the opportunity to start cold calling external top 10 Accounting firms to do my business Auditing and Due Diligence. I’ve booked in 3 large multi-BILLION dollar accounting firms for a presentation/interview. But the catch is that I’m doing the interviewing… I’m leveraging the three companies off one another to give me the best services feasible. Will let you guys know how my presentations go!
