Business Update & Goals
With a little guidance from @Isaac Wiesenthal I've completely overhauled my landing page to streamline offers and messaging. link is https://www.jakeobrienfitness.com/ if anyone else would like to review. I also completely stripped back the entire back-end built-in meal plan generating system, as it was producing unrealistic recipes for my clients to follow. This was a huge job, but I'm really proud of how it's functioning now. Next steps for me: - Getting a smaller group to "pilot" FOC so I can get some more honest feedback and results/social proof which is something im lacking due to only launching recently. (If anyone here is interested you may of course be part of that group. I will have this created shortly.) - Nailing paid marketing - through better ad copy - committing to the best channels & target groups - Letting go of self-limiting beliefs holding me back from putting myself out there on social media. I aim to secure: - 10 new clients on a 6-week pilot - 20 new clients on my low-ticket option - 5 new clients on my higher ticket option Archive this by - Post at least 3 x lead-generating posts on social media - Exposure through pilot clients - Running successful low-budget ads - Applying Isacs tips

Great stuff looks good mate!
Anyone know a good lawyer?
Hey lads, Found myself in a bit of strife from someone owing money. Not what we want. Thought this group would be a good place to ask for any connections. Thanks in advance for any help 🙏🏼

It’s worth mentioning. Laywers don’t have a set guideline system for commercial litigation/deal makings. Price is negotiable, circumstances are negotiable. Some firms even say “no win no fee” basis. But you’ll only get this if you have the balls to ASK. I did and now I’m reaping the rewards by deferring hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of fees

Yeah fortunately those are the circumstances. Hence if you believe that you’re in the right and the documents are a win then follow through with QCAT. If you want to further extend and potentially take some more money out of this guys pocket to cover that initial expense. You could risk reaching out to a litigation lawyer that specialises in your industry (only a partner of the firm) and allow them to give oversight and further fight the case for you. But that comes at a cost aswell. It just comes down to how badly you want the money and what you’re willing to sacrifice to obtain it. Marco has great insight and his point is valid in mentioning the “is it worth it” take. Yes there’s a signed agreement. But how much initial time and effort did you expend on the deal? Etc etc

October Goals Accountability
Ok team, so we didn't quite hit all of our goals... I dont want to make excuses I should have worked harder and/or more efficient to do so, but im going to post the results below to keep me accountable and make my next months goals reflected on that. - $1,000,000 in signed landscape contracts > I signed $769,454 in October, this is a short fall of over 230k which is not good.. I did learn one good lesson here though, I can hit this goal by adjusting a few systems to get more proposals out but, I truly dont have the infrastructure to handle this much work at the current moment, there is a bottleneck on Service Delivery, so this is a main focus on this months goal so I can sustain this coming into the new year. - m2 price sheet estimating spreadsheet built out > This has been completed & has completly changed the way we send our proposals to customers. The average Quote processing time for September (prior to implementing these sheets) was 2.5 hours on average to complete a quote, now its 1.2 hours! This can essentially double our amount of proposals out to customers 🔥 - 10% net profit on constructed projects > Due to all of our projects being over a month timeline we cannot see these results until project completion which is estimated December - 30 Venture Hub members > This is defiantly an area I neglected lately, no excuses I will focus on improving this moving forward. - Hit 90kg weight > We hit this on the day! 💪
