Over the years, I've done most of my training within a gym using weights and machines. Over the next year I plan on traveling all round Asia making a regimented training programme, consistant use of the same machines and potentially access to a gym difficult. Recently I've started dipping my toes in the world of calestenics as it can be far easier to adapt to my lifestyle while also building up a new skill and maintaining my physique. I was wondering your thoughts on calestenics, it's ability to maintain muscle size and it's effects on joint health when compared to traditional weight lifting methods.
