I need help, I'm working on my RATE CARD, and as much as I want to wrap my mind around how 'usage rights' should be handled, it seems weird. So I understand offering $X.XX for 1 video, or give a little discount for 3 video package, or more discount for 5 videos... thats crystal. So Explain to Me How USAGE RIGHTS Work Like what is the rationale for this process? Is it that maybe the base rate, let's say $100 for 1 video, will get you 3 months. But if you want to use it for 6 months then you'll pay an additional $30 for months 3-6? Hence, 6 months would cost you $190? Or is it I'll make it for $100, and then since you want to run it for 6 months, I'll ask for another 180 for usage rights ($30 for each of 6 months). Hence, a total of $280. PLEASE HELP, This so far is the most confusing part of this whole deal...
