Hey FFM community, I just wanted to take a moment to ask for prayers for everyone in the path of Hurricane Milton, especially those on Florida’s West Coast. They’re expecting the storm to hit as a category four, and they need all the prayers and protection we can offer. 🙏 Terri and her family are also preparing for the hurricane as it heads toward the East Coast, and I thought it would be nice for us to lift them up in prayer, along with anyone else in Florida who may be affected. Let’s come together in faith, trusting for the safety of everyone in the storm’s path. If anyone else in our community is in harm’s way, feel free to comment below so we can pray for you as well. ❤️

Hi everyone! I’m Lori. So glad to be here and so excited to see this space that Terri has felt led to create for us. I’m sure many of you feel the same. I’m a wife and mom of two girls and we live in Tennessee. I was actually a church music Director for over 12 years and step down from that position last year. It’s not easy traveling with family for the holidays or having spontaneous travel when you work in a church! But I did love my job and miss that routine and time each Sunday morning to fellowship. Although we go, we’re just so out of that routine now. Currently, I just substitute teach once a week or so. I like having a lot of flexibility, but the subbing is great for getting me out of the house and keeping my SAHM self in check. Can anyone else relate? 😂 looking forward to the connections here!

What is one thing you did today to refuel your spirit? I got up and went to church. I always feel better when I have been poured into. How about you?
