Friendship Fading Update
Update to a previous post: So I talked with my nondenominational friend last night, and he is still a practicing Christian, but faith isn't a high priority. His priorities seem to be: 1. His job 2. Playing video games 3. Anime 4. God I feel so sad, we used to talk theology and philosophy all the time. I'll be praying that he makes God his number one priority.

I think prayer is a great way to grow closer to God. You should tell him about how good it is and how even a small amount of prayer is better than nothing.

@Adam LaCrosse it definitely helped me. I used to not even pray daily, but prayer has transformed my relationship with God.
Happy Easter!
I hope everyone had a happy Easter! Here's my latest blog post: A New Creation (incarnationalinkwell.wixsite.com)

I recommend praying it daily. If you are able to, I would suggest 5 decades per day. So you start by saying the sign of the cross and on the rosary cross, you pray I believe in God the Father (I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.) After, on the first bead you pray Our Father, and 3 Hail Mary's on the 3 beads. On the next bead you pray: "Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen." That's the introduction. As for the main part, there is 4 parts of the rosary, each prayed on a different day of the week. The Joyful Mysteries (Monday and Saturday) 1. The Annunciation 2. The Visitation 3. The Nativity 4. The Presentation 5. Finding Jesus in the Temple The Sorrowful Mysteries (Tuesday and Friday) 1. The Agony in the Garden 2. The Scourging 3. The Crowning with thorns 4. Carrying the Cross 5. The Crucifixion The Glorious Mysteries (Wednesday and Sunday) 1. The Baptism of Jesus 2. The Wedding Feast at Cana 3. The Sermon on the Mount 4. The Transfiguration 5. Institution of the Eucharist The Luminous Mysteries (Thursday) 1. The Resurrection 2. The Ascension 3. Pentecostal 4. The Assumption 5. The Coronation of Mary On the central bead, say the first mystery of the part of the rosary for the given day so for example on Thursday it would be: "The first Luminous Mystery: The Resurrection", and pray Our Father once.

Eating the Sunrise w/ Christopher West
I'm a big fan of Pints with Aquinas, so I'll let you guys know if any cool episodes come out. Check this one out where Christopher West discusses his new book "Eating the Sunrise", delving into meditations on the liturgy and our hunger for beauty. He gives insights on topics like love, beauty, earthly pleasures, eros, and self-reliance. He also talks about the impact of the sexual revolution, the need for healing, and how to purify the pornified. Him and Matt cover the themes in St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body and how they apply to our modern world. Worth a listen πŸ“šπŸŒ…
