Favorite equipment in your bag?
What is your favorite club or accessory in your bag and why? I’ll start. I have an American Putter Company custom putter with engravings of my family names on it. Then I rusted it for a fun look in the greens.

My Sim2 Max driver with the Ventus Blue Velicore shaft. Never lets me down.

@Joe Kyger It seems to significantly reduce the dispersion related to off-center hits.

Find a teaching pro, in person or on-line, and get a lesson. They can look at a video of your swing and give you some changes to work on that will very likely make a big difference. The basic cause of a slice is that the club face is "open" relative to the swing path. This creates spin that causes the curve (like in ping pong, if you ever played). Your hands control the club face and your arms, upper body and foot position mainly determine the swing path. Lots of variables and a trained eye can help you find ways to improve.
Irons Recommendation
I'm a 70-year-old pastor of a small church, so money is a major issue. I''ve been playing for 50 years and am a low handicapper. Does anyone have a suggestion on new irons (4-PW)? I've considered Lazrus, but the more I read, I dismissed that option. Appreciate the help.

I have purchased clubs from callawaypreowned.com over the years and my best buy was a set of 4-A Apex 19 irons "like new" on sale for $625 (over 50% off retail at the time). Their prices vary and you can find bargains if you check regularly and have an idea about what you want.

Started golfing while attending UW in Seattle. Now trying to remain a "single digit" going into retirement years.
