NEW Engagement Contest Begins TODAY!
Hi there Students! With the summer engagement contest coming to a triumphant end, what better way to start the fall test prep season than with yet another contest? This time rewards will be decided and handed out every month. You get points based on your interaction with the posts here on the Skool page. The only way you will receive entries in the monthly drawing is if you are on the Skool leaderboard on the right side of the community page. Entries will be awarded based on your position on the leaderboard, with the top position receiving 20 entries, the 2nd position 19, and so on until the final position. NOTE: the student with the most engagement every week will receive FIVE extra entries into the monthly drawing. One $100 gift card winner per month until 2025! So basically - if you do the things you're supposed to be doing anyway to get ready for your next test, you should find yourself in pretty good position to win some money! Let the contest....BEGIN!!

Ask The Experts!
Hey there students - as you prep for upcoming exams, you certainly have burning questions about the process. This pinned post gives you a chance to ask any question that comes up about *the process* itself. Not a strategy question or a specific test question. For instance, you might wonder about what happens if you decide after your test that you want to add a college to the ones you chose to receive your score. This is a question that would benefit the community to know! Ask away!!

Typically, all college applications are due in November, but what if I want to take the ACT/SAT in December or February, would it be possible to add?
SAT RW QOTD - July 1, 2024
How would you tackle this question? Would you: 1) Read the entire passage first? 2) Read the underlined portion and the questions, then the rest of the passage if necessary? 3) ONLY read the underlined portion and see if you can eliminate wrong answers? 4) Something else/a combination of these methods?

ACT Math - HARD Probability!
This is probably the hardest probability question you'll ever see on the ACT exam. (see what I did there?) Watch this short explanation and post another question about probability below!

A bag of marbles contains 12 red, 5 yellow, and 15 green. How many additional red marbles need to be added to the 32 marbles already in the bag so that the probability of randomly drawing a red marble is 3/5?
ACT Math Strategy of the Day - The Cosine Function!
Hey students - here is a short Loom video I made about the cosine function. How might you use this explanation to help you to understand this function on a practice test?

On a practice test this can help with general trig and also as mentioned in the video, when there are equation typically only containing A and C this can help.
