DIBBS
What is DIBBS and is this something you all recommend signing up for?

@David Sanabria Is that for products that require tech documents? If so, how long does it take to get cleared for that? Also, how long do you think it will take me to get my postcard in the mail? It’s been 2 weeks since I completed the request in Dibbs.

Feedback Requested for Startup Resources
Happy Saturday "Startup'ers"! (just made that name up, too cheesy?) Upon creation of the community, I set the pace for my role in this community to be one of Listening and one of Creating. So far, I've been asked about these 2 challenges by a handful of community members: 1) A beginner's checklist to help with the "I don't know what I don't know" that a Startup quickly encounters AND the ordering and sequence of steps that a checklist provides. 2) "I can't find the bids that I'm looking for". I hear this one very frequently and have thoughts that I can capture in a video format. It's my thoughts that a checklist and video could run parallel to one another and make a potent combo. I also have lots of other stuff do for the community, so is one or both of these worth my time creating? Would you honestly use it? Would you even look at it 🤔 I'm all 👂👂 to Listen...

Love this, count me in!!
Real Estate
Do you have to have your Real Estate license to do commercial real estate leasing in the government space? I watched a video and I don’t think the person in it had their license. I started the process of getting my license right before I heard about government contracting. (Staffing and Real Estate are my main goals.)

I would like to be the agent that transacts the deal. However, I’m interested in how both ways would work.

Thanks! Good to know. I had trouble researching it and made a few calls to a few government departments and never got a call back.

I am new to Dibbs and waiting for my postcard. So take what I say with a grain of salt. The course I took said you don’t have to use the approved source but it has to be the exact same part and manufactured in an approved Country. However you may have issues when you have enter the approved source Cage Code. Aerospace I’m sure is a lot more strict than my category (Troop Support). So I’m not sure if there is a work around. The problem I’m having is sometimes there is only one approved source and they are your competitor. They are bidding and exclusively wining on that part. However, that may not be the case with Raytheon since they are such a large company. If you can get a price on the part from one of the approved sources, lower than the last one listed in the procurement history, I would go for it.
