How long have y'all been editing and what did you start with?
My first editing software was an iPhone app called VizzyWig. Basically all you could do was piece together shots that were already taken. You couldn't make cuts or anything like that. The only fancy feature it had was the premade intros you could insert and the customizable rolling credits. After that I got a really old version of Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 12 which I used for about a year or two. Been using Premiere ever since. That was almost 9 years ago.

I used to make Call of Duty edits on Sony Vegas in like 2017 up until like 2021 I started using AE, and then took on content editing in Premiere in 2022.

@Mad Jack I second this! Networking was my biggest step but I think it varies by your niche as well. Mine is Roblox so once I meet one creator, I can make more connections with their friends and so on. It's a constant loop.
