BRAVE actions of the week!
What are yours? Here's a chance to move up the ranks here at Brave Speaker Academy - just comment something brave you've done this week, or commit to something. This week I bravely brought some vulnerabilities to light - and so glad I did. The ensuing conversations helped move things along to feeling stronger, more capable, and sure of things. Why is this important? Because where we hide from ourselves is where we cannot express what's happening, and where we don't crack open, the light can't get in - or out. (Comment & post to continue leveling up. Limited content coming soon!)

Brave action this week was deciding to opt out of a profitable contract because my motivation comes from a fear and scarcity mindset and it's not the heart aligned place I want to operate from. I keep reminding myself that I have to clear space to allow for lighter and brighter opportunities. Here's to leaning in to trusting myself and that the universe has my back - it has this far!

Fear of our own power is so relatable, as is the struggle of self forgiveness.
The power of your voice!
Take a few minutes to be reminded of the power of your words, how long they can make an impact on others, and how you don’t have to be a perfectly composed speaker to touch many hearts and minds. Do you feel powerful? What does powerful mean to you?

The power of your voice!

Power has often been associated with more negative connotations in my life, words like pain and oppression come to mind. Over the past decade I am growing to embrace my own power in my own thoughts and voice. It's fun to recognize moments of owning my own power and reflect on how I would have responded differently in the past. Some of my power goals include continuing to evolve my balance of logic over emotion and also having the level of confidence to 'own the room' in a room of my peers which is another way of saying walk confidently with purpose and without a worry about how others do or don't receive me.

@Luis Rodriguez Might it also be viewed as an investment?
Brave & Chill: How would BRAVE Speaking change your life?
It's almost time for BRAVE & CHILL, our informal point of connection throughout the week! There's no obligation to join but I'd still love to hear from you: "If you were to achieve your speaking goals, what in your life would change?" 🤪 No wrong answers - can be small, big, silly or serious. See you in the comments! 💌

I'd connect with new people in new places, create positive impact for more people, and create more income for myself. Plus, I like being valued for my skills and seen for my expertise.
International Exposure
I just got off a call with one of our community members in Australia who brought something up and she was so RIGHT! We are an international community, and many of my own experience comes from having lived in multiple countries, so this makes absolute sense... I am committed to helping you get International exposure for you, your message and your growth. How does that sound? ;) Where are you now... and where would you like to grow an audience?

It's part of the reason I'm interested in speaking beyond helping and inspiring others, to also offer opportunities to travel different and new places.
Bravery is a way of life 🌟
BRAVE isn't always BIG. And BRAVE is different for everyone. It's more of a way of life, than a single moment. Let's collect examples of how you've can make bravery a habit in our lives. Post yours here!

@Karla Idunate Love this. Tell me more about what you teach! It's definitely a profession filled with bravery and something asked of in our students daily.
