I wanted to share with you guys an organization that I am immensely lucky to have found here in Costa Rica. The Costa Rican chapter of this organization is responsible for reforesting the biological corridor all the way from the east coast to the west coast of Costa Rica. What I would love to show you is how analog forestry binds with and works with permaculture. The best way to look at it is analog forestry is what you do to set yourself up for the proper land for permaculture. Intention of it reforestation project with analog forestries technique is to reintroduce the living soil generation of whichever microclimate your land is in. What I have found so fascinating is that analog forestry actually has a periodic table of biomass. It's the same kind of thing as our. Of elements but it's all for biomass. And then there's an actual mathematical formula to fill in the gaps on your land in order to create a full blown sustainable secondary forest that is specific to what is native to your land. For me I still have so much to learn about the different trees but I do have my mind wrapped around the formulas and how they work and I do have a formula for Costa Rica.
