What’s to come
As the week progresses, you’ll start to see more folks rolling. The goal is NOT to make this a huge group, but rather, an intentional one. A community focused on action and accountability. What has been built out so far is really to start laying the groundwork. Where it goes from here, how it gets refined, and tailored will be based on the needs and desires of the people. YOU! So, as we continue to settle in, get cozy, begin connecting, sharing, and collaborating, things will begin to get tweaked to better facilitate the community. In the meantime, I encourage you to open up. You are here, and that means I am…and we are…ALL here to help. While we might not be in the same industries, we are pursuing the same type of freedom and are wanting to leave the same type of legacy. Along the way, regardless of business seniority or income levels, we will face the same types of challenges, bottlenecks, hurdles, and insecurities. We are here to face them, together. However, in order to do that, we all have to be willing to be a bit vulnerable and intentional with our communication here. With that said, I want to know, what are you working on in your business and what do you need assistance with? Also, @Grace Sloggett kicked is off with the first intro video (instructions found in the “START HERE” module). Follow her lead, make that quick intro video to introduce you and your business so we can all get to know each other better. Let’s do this!

@Grace Sloggett Three main bottlenecks we are currently addressing: 1. Training and development 2. Talent acquisition & retention 3. Refining our operating systems. We have spent the last year working on our training program. We ended up developing our own LMS and hiring a production team to create interactive trainings that utilize learning theory to increase engagement and comprehension. 1 on 1 shadowing and training was becoming too time consuming, so we needed a way to automate the bulk of it. We have about 48 hours of initial and ongoing education for employees to access now, which also covers all training certification requirements set by the State of Oregon which use to be in person seminar style trainings. (This has become its own business as other companies in our industry have started using it). We have implemented software that streamlines hiring and onboarding of staff. This software automates payroll as well so we could ditch our payroll firm. This has enabled us to automate new hire paperwork and trigger work flows for various positions within the company as new hires are onboarded. Working on refining operating systems leveraging other software as well as implementing the EOS model within the organization to improve efficiencies, transparency and communication. Sounds like a lot, but we had really good systems for a company our size in place and I was kind of just watching it run itself. Goals changed this year and realized I was getting too comfortable, so in the last 6 months we have added some chaos to the machine and seeing where we need to focus on. +400% growth in 2024. Looking to double again by end of 2025.

@Grace Sloggett Is this essentially the same process as submitting proposals to state RFP's? We have looked into using professional proposal companies for some state contracts for one of our companies. Some claim to have really great success rates. We had thought about having the proposals done professionally once or twice to see their format and create templates. Something to look into, the company we looked at was like 3k to write a proposal and do research on pricing to get your proposal passed through to negotiation phases.
And so it begins!
We have the first wave coming in. I’m so excited to see these names and faces! Truly honored to have you all here in, on the ground floor of this community. We are just getting started here, but I am so excited to build this into a true community that is action and accountability forward. where relationships and collaboration opportunities are formed. For some of you, we have worked together before. You know what I’m about. Eager to build with you! Truly love you all! @Grace Sloggett, my sweet friend, so excited to see you in here!
