Closing down this group.
I'm closing down this group the time being. I've found that a membership model isn't the right fit for this content at this stage. I'm going to be rolling out more educational content in the future, but it won't be through Skool. For everybody who was a paid supporter, you will be receiving free access to my next course which will also contain everything inside this platform. Much love, Nick

IG stories in reels
Hello Nick! I've shared plenty of good content in my stories over the past year that I'd like to transfer to reels for posting on my feed. Do you have any ideas on the most straightforward method that would maintain the flow and relevance?

@Marie-Christine Carrière no matter what third party app you use, you will have to have the content. Are these stories you have saved as "Favorites", or content you own and have posted in the past?

@Marie-Christine Carrière I have a tool to download content from Instagram to use across these tools if you don't have it already.
Free AI animation creator
Hey Nick, this is great. Can you suggest an AI tool to make small animations/GIFS?

@Christopher Jones I'm glad I asked! Here's a 2 minute tutorial of my favorite way to make animated GIFs into stories - https://www.skool.com/ai-help-desk-7891/classroom/9262c63a?md=c126b2df4bab40e791c21445d12e071f There's a lot of ways to use AI to do it, but if you want granular control over the process, I encourage you to use Canva. Canva is my go-to graphic design tool for all things, and is a good investment if you run into any paid features. Example GIF below

@Mariana Suchodolski Yes most definitely. Can make a video about my favorite tools for more complex and creative animations
Walk through on Figma
Hey Nick, It would be wonderful to have a tutorial on how to best use figma for website design and ideation.

@Felipe Lacerda Figma is pretty technical If you're making your first website nowadays, I suggest a couple other things before Figma.. 1. Figure out what good looks like - Go find 5 websites you like that are similar to what you want to make, and save them 2. Extract the sections you feel like you will want on your website using screenshots 3. Remake those sections into a simple landing page using CARRD.co and their templates Nowadays I'd reccomend CARRD for simple Landing pages as it is the easiest to use, and Framer for larger sites (but framer is more technical) If you'd like to ideate from scratch, I'd reccomend using Framers AI function covered in the UI/UX video inside the classtoom
Integrating AI Tools into Daily Workflow
Hey everyone, Hope you're all having a good one! I'm on a quest to streamline my daily workflow and I am trying to integrate AI tools to enhance productivity and creativity in my role as a frontend developer. But here's the thing – there are tons of tools out there, and I'm facing a challenge in selecting the right tools that are truly beneficial and don't end up being a time sink as I try to figure them out. So, I've got a couple of questions for you all, which I think might be interesting for any workflow: - How do you go about choosing AI tools for your workflow: How do you guys pick the right AI tools? Any red flags or must-haves I should watch out for? - Learning Curve: How do you figure out if learning a new tool is worth it? Got any tips for testing them without going down a rabbit hole? - Real-life Examples: Ever had an AI tool that just totally changed the game for you? What was it, and how did it make your work better? - Frontend Specifically : Any AI tools you swear by for frontend stuff and design? I’m all ears for anything that genuinely makes work smoother especially when it comes to client work where the cms, frameworks, hosting etc are given.  (I watched the tutorials on UI/UX prototyping and the landing page builder and this already was very helpful thanks @nick) Would really appreciate your thoughts and any advice you can throw my way. Cheers, Sina

@Felipe Lacerda yes, I personally reccomend using Express VPN. It's my favorite. Once you're signed up, and registered, you don't need to use a VPN to access Claude anymore.

@Felipe Lacerda yes I use both for different things. Claude for code and copywriting. And Chat GPT for a lot of other things.
