Announcement - It's over.
Hi everyone, Our experiment with Skool has come to an end. Unfortunately, we’re currently too busy to contribute to the community as we’d like. The page will soon be archived, but for those who want to keep following for tips, you can connect with us on: - LinkedIn - YouTube - Podcast Not all experiments work out, but we’re glad we tried. For anyone interested in training, we will offer limited corporate training through the sales consultancy. Please note that there will be no one-on-one sessions or events unless we see significant demand, which seems unlikely at this time. Keep fighting the good fight, and be good to yourself. Best, Zac x

I appreciate the advice from the live Q&As and the lessons on platforms. I know this is going to make me sound like the most ungrateful person on this platform, how against would you guys be for roasting one of my cold calls and providing me some feedback?

I am going to be honest I have never heard of Julian Treasure until just now. I had two big takeaways from the podcast. 1. The importance of actively listening to someone on a cold call/Discovery call 2. The Last question "What's the listening I am speaking into"?

I will also try my best to be there.
Cold Calling advice
I have been calling up plumbers and roofers and have been getting a lot of No's from the on set. I have been using the opener "Hi [prospect's name] Your going to hate me it is a cold call, I am not sure if that makes you want to throw your phone out the window or let me have 30 seconds and then decide." I was planning on giving them a call after a week using the same opener or do you think I should go with "I have been set a tricky task, not sure if you can help, can you let me have 30 seconds and we see where we end up?" this was my plan on the approach, what are your guys thoughts on this? Another thing how do I stay motivated after hearing a "No" from the on set? I got 10 of these in a row and ended up doubting if this approach is going to work for my niche. Also I am curious do you guys just do cold calling or do you send out emails and social media DM's to your prospects. I have been just only been doing cold calling to get clients do you think I should be start sending out DM's and email to all the ones I call or only the ones that seem interested?

How often should you follow up with prospects who weren't initially interested?
