**Stoicism**
**Stoicism** Stoicism is a philosophical school of thought that originated in ancient Greece. It was founded by Zeno of Citium in the 3rd century BCE and later developed by philosophers such as Seneca, Epictetus, and Marcus Aurelius. It teaches that the path to inner peace and happiness lies in accepting and embracing the natural order of the universe, including both joy and suffering. I do not believe stoicism to be the ultimate truth but it is definitely a part of it!

Contrapposto definition
Contrapposto is an Italian term used in the visual arts to describe the stance of a figure, typically in sculpture, where the weight of the body is shifted onto one leg, causing the hips and shoulders to rest at opposing angles, resulting in a graceful and naturalistic pose. This pose originated in ancient Greek sculpture and was later revived during the Renaissance as artists sought to emulate classical ideals of beauty and balance.

@J Bartlett yeah! The Da Vinci Code is such an interesting book as well. It was really pleasing to get a glimpse of his mind.

@Isaac Tmg indeed there is so much beauty in all of those classical pieces. It almost feels like the artist put a part of his soul into the art.
