'Water Up' Challenge
This week’s challenge is all about boosting our hydration and keeping our bodies fueled and energized! Here’s how it works: Challenge Goal: Drink at least 8 cups (2 liters / 64oz) of water every day. If you can drink more, please do! How to participate: 1️⃣ Track Your Water Intake: Post how many cups/liters/oz you drank each day. 2️⃣ Daily Reflection: Share how you feel after drinking more water. Are you feeling more energized, focused, refreshed or tired to go to the bathroom (🫠)? How to Earn Points: - 1 Point for posting your water intake every day under this post (get up to 7 points for the week!) - 1 Point for sharing how you feel at the end of the day (get up to 7 points for the week!) BONUS: - 1 Point for sharing a picture of your water bottle, your cup count, or a hydration reminder you've set up. - Share water tips or tricks with the community—like how you remind yourself to drink more, or fun ways to flavour your water! Staying hydrated is key to productivity, focus, and overall wellness, so let’s make it a fun challenge to support each other. Remember, it’s not just about hitting the goal—it’s about building the habit and feeling great while we do it!

Kiddos and Business: Entrepreneurship through play
Introducing children to basic business principles can be both fun and educational. For example, simple activities like a lemonade stand or a craft project can teach about costs, pricing, and customer service in a very hands-on way. In our home, we also use board games that simulate business decisions and discussions about money management. Of course it depends on your kid's age. My daughter is 6 years old and I find that she is starting to be very interested in earning and managing her own money and seeing her playing Monopoly is just so interesting! These activities not only keep them engaged but also creates a sense of curiosity and understanding about what mom (and dad) does and why it matters. It's about building a foundation for future skills and nurturing a entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, especially since school doesn't teach that that much... Parents, how do you incorporate lessons about entrepreneurship into your children's activities? What games or projects have you found effective in teaching these important concepts?

@Marianne Suarez Sabugo Scripted prank calls. (not letting them actually make prank calls) they both take acting classes so they write and perform the scripts. Some of the vidoes have done pretty well

Kids’ Corner: A Blend of Fun and Focus
Integrating a child-friendly workspace in or near your home office can be a wonderful strategy for keeping your little ones engaged while you concentrate on work tasks. In our "kids' corner," I stock educational games, puzzles, and art supplies that foster independent play. I like to prepare an activity in advance, especially when I know I’ll need uninterrupted focus time. I explain to them that, unless it’s a real emergency, they should try to play independently for the next 20, 30, or 45 minutes. This setup does more than just keep them occupied; it also ignites their creativity and teaches them valuable lessons about independence and respect for others' commitments. By providing engaging activities, I show up for them, and by carving out this time, I also fulfill my commitments to my clients. How have you arranged a play area for your kids within your workspace? What are the essential items in your child’s creative nook that make it both functional and fun?

Reminder to all the parents entrepreneurs... (and to myself too 🫠)
Remember why you started: You're building more than just a business—you're setting an example for your kids. This summer, if you need to take time away from the kids to maintain and grow your business, know that it's not just okay—it's valuable! As summer unfolds, it's natural to feel torn between family time and the demands of growing your business. But remember, every moment you spend on your business isn't just about work—it's about building a legacy for your little ones. It’s about showing them the value of hard work, resilience, and the pursuit of dreams. So, while it might feel tough to step away for a business call or to polish off that big project, know that you're doing it not just for your success, but for their future too. Embrace this season with confidence and give yourself permission to succeed in every role you play. Your kids are watching, learning, and cheering you on, every step of the way.

I'm pretty excited about the future. I'm changing up what I'm gonna be doing and very much in the planning stage. (I think alot of us are) But it takes some time to really figure out what suits us.
