Selling course material is stupid, do this instead ๐Ÿ‘‡ โš ๏ธ Warning: You may not like or agree with what I write here, but I promise it will make you more money if you implement this tactic. I don't sell information. I give it all away for free. ALL OF IT. Information has never been more free, abundant, and undervalued. So why try n sell it? Master @Frank Kern told me years ago that if I want to make a lot of money, I should first "prove to people you can help them by actually helping them." I took that to heart. Now? My FREE Skool community members get everything my low ticket ($197/month) & my high ticket (north of 5k) clients get, except for 1 thing... What's the thing? It's the only thing worth paying for! A service. An incredibly helpful service. I give everything (all my BEST course material + pdf's, recordings, etc.) away for free to my free Skool community members, and I reserve only my services for my paid members. Why? 100+ reasons. But here's one: How can I ethically withhold helpful information from people when I genuinely want to see them succeed ASAP? I can't. That'd be asinine. Which is why my free Skool community members get access to: 1) The same course materials my HT clients have access to. 2) The same links and resources my HT have access to. 3) The same workshops my HT have access to. 4) And yes... even the same group zoom coaching calls my HT attend! So then... what do my HT & LT clients get that my free members don't get? I already told you... A service! Your services can look like whatever you want them to look like, but here's what mine looks like: My low ticket clients get 5x small group sessions per week with my team & I where we help them grow their business quickly. Our service includes reviewing their Skool community, website, funnel, content, DM's, sales calls, etc. and giving them feedback to make everything better. My high ticket clients, on the other hand, get to work directly (1 on 1) with me & my team on Zoom (or IRL) for even quicker results.

@Lawrence Payne Same. I donโ€™t even have a LT yet. Only an established free. Have been thinking a lot about what to offer in paid. Was thinking weekly live sessions, but Tedโ€™s doing these for free too lol

New Discovery Algorithm
Before: The same groups showed every time you visit (meaning a few groups grow) After: Different groups show every time - try refreshing (meaning lots of groups grow) Before: Primarily focused on quantity (posts, comments, members) After: Primarily focused on quality (retention, engagement, members keep visiting) Before: One overall ranking (painting groups compete with business groups) After: Different rankings per category (each category competes with itself, evening the playing field) - Check it out and see what you think for yourself: https://www.skool.com/discovery. I think it reveals some really wholesome groups. - Note 1: Retention doesn't just apply to paid groups. If members regularly visit a free community for long into the future, that means you have good retention! We reward groups with high retention. Note 2: For more information we have three help docs. How to rank higher in Discovery? Why isn't my group visible in Discovery? How is my group categorized? Note 3: "We're fixing some bugs with the new discovery algorithm so things may change over the next few days. Don't read too much into the current rankings till the dust settles. This change will definitely help more groups get discovered." - @Sam Ovens

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe Before my community actually ranked 4th in Arts & Crafts. And overall ranking was 88 or something. But I just checked and noticed there isnโ€™t really an overall ranking anymore? Okay thanks for the feedback on inactive members. Thatโ€™s great to know. Well itโ€™s not too bad, Iโ€™ll work my way up again! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

@Gary Henderson Okay I got to clear things up. When I just checked when the new algorithm was live it showed me a 400+ global ranking (which was 90). But now it just says 18th in Arts & Crafts (which was 4th before). So still 14 ranks up, but less bad than I initially thought
IRL > The Internet (Skool Meetups are a Thing!)
Just hosted a life changing IRL event for Skool creators with my good friend & Skool podcast host, @Matthew Thompson in Northern Ireland. Legend @Calvin Hollywood from Germany also came in and CRUSHED it as everyone's favourite guest speaker. The aftermovie is pretty sick ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿ˜ check it out below. Now I need your help. Where would be the COOLEST place on planet Earth to host the next Skool meetup/mastermind? Would need to fit at least 20 people comfortably. Post some sweet destinations below (Airbnb link or website link) ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป and I'll add the best ones to a list for future events. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
