System Automation Apps
In general, I use Keyboard Maestro, Alfred, and BetterTouchTool. Not sure if it's a good thing to have them all running at the same time, but I have different reasons for using them. Thoughts?

I switched from Alfred to Raycast last year. More features, but more money 🤷🏻‍♂️
SetApp monthly membership
I've been using SetApp for several years now, and it's more than paid for itself! My favorite apps to use are - TextSniper - TypingMind (AI) - Craft (for Markdown documents) - Bartender to manage all of my icons up top (I was using this from before the SetApp days) - Spark Mail - Paste - Dropshare These also deserve a worthy mention as I use them maybe not daily, but often enough to be important: - Permute - CleanMyMac X - TextSoap - Default Folder X - Clop They may not be perfect, but they've been really helpful for me. There are a ton more apps that I failed to mention as well.

Audio Hijack (Record Any Audio)
#mac #software #audio Link: https://rogueamoeba.com/audiohijack/ I use this app to record audio from an app — specifically I save audio from Zoom so that I can use it in Vibe for transcription. I also use it to pre-process/clean up my microphone audio before using in Zoom. NOTE: You can use Vibe to record (and later transcribe) audio as well. I usually do this on-the-fly if I need just a few minutes of audio recorded/transcribed immediately. Rogue Amoeba also has a software called Loopback that allows you to route audio to a virtual device so you can use it as a source for Vibe. (More on this later…) Audio Hijack is a powerful and easy-to-use app for Mac that lets you record and improve any audio playing on your computer. Whether you want to capture music, record a podcast, save a Zoom meeting, or boost your microphone for live streaming, Audio Hijack has you covered. With its simple drag-and-drop interface, you can quickly set up recordings and even apply effects to enhance the sound quality. It’s perfect for podcasters, students, musicians, or anyone who works with audio. If you’re looking for a way to take control of your audio, Audio Hijack is the perfect tool to get started. You can download it from Rogue Amoeba and try it for yourself!

I've had a license since 2017! One of my must haves when doing any work with audio on my computer.
