Todays little training assignment. A Multi model Chat Interface
I have got far too much time on my hands :) I spent the late part of Saturday afternoon and the early part of Saturday evening putting into practice some of the stuff I have learned from training videos. I was meant to be doing langchain but got distracted by 'shiny shiny things.' I have created a Chat interface that uses both Anthropic and Open AI models via API. I wrapped them in a web front end using TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS. I use browser storage for session data. I didn't want to get into the weeds with databases as I have some real work to do. Anyhow, I created this working interface by coding it all in Cursor, starting with an Excalidraw drawing and then going back and forth with Cursor without typing any code. Here's a little 5 min loom for your viewing pleasure. be kind :) And here is another after I remembered the cool stuff I had done with the chats, so here is a video about what I got up to And yes, I have Linus and Windows because why wouldn't you :)

Gartner report states that it believes Generative AI will Require 80% of Engineering Workforce to Upskill Through 2027
An interesting report from Gartner states that it reckons Software engineers in most fields will have to get onboard with Generative AI. Not doing so could leave you behind. Here is the press release. I am not a Gartner client, so I don't have access to the full document. The Indian Express took the following from the report ( Please excuse the horribleness of this site. it is full of ads) – AI tools will operate within boundaries in the short term, which means that it will enhance productivity by improving the workflows of existing software engineers. – Later, AI agents will push the boundaries by fully automating tasks carried out by software engineers. At this point, most code will be AI-generated rather than human-authored. – In the long term, AI engineering will become more efficient, and organisations will look to hire skilled software engineers to “meet the rapidly increasing demand for AI-empowered software.” We are in the right place at the right time to maximise these opportunities.

So pretty much means.... Be an expert in documentation, planning, strategizing, communicating across teams, execute tasks to AI, test, review... repeat...

Already hear we just need new frameworks in place to use it efficiently to solve problems

Latest Updates for the AI Full-Stack Marketing Course [10/13/2024]
🚀 Exciting Course Updates Just Landed! Hey everyone! 👋 I’ve got some awesome news to share with you. Let's jump right in! 1️⃣ New Optional Sidebar Module I’ve added a refactored sidebar module to the course that simplifies logic using Tailwind CSS. This version replaces the old TypeScript-heavy approach, improving consistency across mobile and desktop. Plus, it's broken into bite-sized videos to make it super easy to follow. P.S. If the original version gave you trouble, this update should make things a lot smoother! https://www.skool.com/ai-developer-accelerator/classroom/f4101dd0?md=470aae3fad4041be8eceed7da414c8b7 2️⃣ Scale Resource Now Available The new scale resource is live in the resource section at the end of the course. It covers managing storage limits, scaling your app efficiently, and monitoring behavior using tools like PostHog, DataDog, and Sentry. https://www.skool.com/ai-developer-accelerator/classroom/f4101dd0?md=8794fc6eaa4846b2bacfc392ce38cf7e 🔧 Coming Next: Dev to Production Module I’m currently working on a new module that will walk you through taking your project from development to production. This will include updating integrations with Clerk and Stripe, swapping out databases, and handling all the important steps to make sure your launch goes smoothly. 💬 Got ideas for what else you'd like to see in the course? Drop a comment below and let me know! Cheers, Brandon 🧑‍💻🥂
